Hello,

Wherever you're joining me from today,

You're very welcome.

Find a comfortable place,

Maybe sitting,

Maybe lying down.

And if it feels safe for you,

Just allow your eyes to gently close.

And let's check,

Take a moment now to just check in with our breath.

Maybe place your hands on your belly and one on your chest.

And start to feel that rise and fall of your body beneath your hands.

Take a slow,

Deep breath in.

And a long,

Steady breath out.

Feel the weight of your body.

It's supported by the ground beneath you.

And maybe as you're breathing,

And with each exhale,

You're starting to release any tension that you might have been holding in your jaw,

In your shoulders,

Or anywhere else in your body.

Just let your breath find a natural,

Gentle rhythm.

In today's practice,

We're going to allow our bodies and our minds to soften towards thinking about our soul's purpose.

And to start that,

We're going to imagine a warm light at the centre of your chest.

It's a soft light,

It's golden.

And with every inhale,

Start to feel this light just grow in a little bit brighter.

And with every exhale,

Start to feel it expanding throughout your body,

Bringing with it a sense of peace,

A sense of calm.

So inhale,

That light just gets a little bit brighter.

And exhale,

It touches a little bit more of your body.

This light is the essence of you.

It's the part of you that's been here long before this moment.

And it's the part of you that will continue for long after.

It carries the truth of you and your soul's purpose here.

Just allow your attention to gently rest in this glowing light.

Just feel the quiet presence of it full in your body.

Perhaps as you're in this light,

You may feel drawn to a word,

Or an image,

Or just simply a knowing.

If anything arises,

Or nothing,

That is exactly what you need right now,

At this time,

In this place.

Perhaps as you're resting in stillness,

You might be repeating silently to yourself,

I am open to remembering why I am here.

Notice if any feelings or sensations or images start to move through you.

Don't hold onto them if they do,

Just let them flow,

Just like water.

But trust that they are with you,

Planting seeds inside you to grow.

Start to draw away from the light now,

And bring your awareness back to the sensation of breathing.

Again to that rise and fall of your chest beneath your hands.

Feel that ground supporting you,

And feel the space around you as well.

Remember,

Your soul's purpose is not something to chase.

It's something that you live,

Moment by moment,

In alignment with your true self.

Take one more,

Maybe slightly deeper breath in now.

And gently,

Maybe sigh it out.

When you're ready,

Blink open your eyes.
