Transcript

Find a comfortable position either seated or laying down.

Gently drop the shoulders and take a slow inhale through the nose and a long steady exhale through the mouth.

Again,

Inhale fresh energy through the nose and exhale everything heavy or unnecessary through the mouth.

Bring your attention to sensations,

Feel the air on your skin,

The way your body is supported by earth beneath you,

All the sounds in the distance.

With each breath imagine yourself becoming more rooted into earth,

Like a tree,

Your feet and legs grounding deep into the soil.

The earth supports you without effort.

If the mind wanders,

Gently guide it back to the breath,

The sounds,

To the feeling of being held by mother earth.

You are safe and supported.

Take a final slow inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.

When you are ready,

Slowly open your eyes and lift your gaze.

Carry this calm connection with you as you go about your day.
