For our meditation practice today,
We will be centering ourselves.
Center as a verb is defined as to give a central focus or basis.
I invite you to keep that in mind throughout the entire practice.
Take a breath,
And become aware of where you are physically,
Mentally,
And spiritually.
Move your awareness to where you are sitting or lying down.
Notice where your body makes contact with the floor,
The chair,
Or the bed.
Feel your physical presence in this space.
Take a moment to scan up through your body,
Starting at your feet.
Moving through your legs.
Into your hips and abdomen.
Into your chest.
Down your arms,
Wrists,
And hands.
And finally through your neck,
Your face,
And your head.
Focus on the center of your body,
Wherever you feel that.
Maybe it's the middle of your chest.
Maybe it's the middle of your head.
Just find where you feel the center of your physical body.
Focus on it and align the rest of your body with the center.
Breathe calmness and serenity into the center of your being.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Relax the center of your being.
And fill it with love,
Joy,
And kindness.
Now find the center in your mind,
Thoughts,
And feelings.
Picture what it means to be balanced and centered.
At peace,
Calm,
And clear-headed.
Breathe in calmness to the center.
Your mental center and notice how you feel.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Find relaxation in this mental center.
And then let go of your focus on it.
Take a minute to let your body,
Mind,
And soul do whatever it wants.
Just let go and let it do what it does.
You are free.
Return your focus back to your breath.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Let's end our practice today with three deep breaths.
Inhale.
And exhale.
Inhale as deeply as you can.
And exhale.
One more,
Inhale,
And release.
I hope you feel centered and relaxed.
Thank you for sharing your practice with me today.
Wishing you love,
Light,
And peace.
Namaste.
