Thank you for choosing to travel mindfully with us today.

This meditation is intended to be used while driving in the car in the morning.

If at any point you become too distracted or too relaxed,

Please turn it off and save it for another time.

With that,

I invite you to bring all your awareness into this present moment,

Setting aside all your worries and thoughts for just a few minutes,

Dropping your awareness into your body and noticing what it feels like to be fully in your body.

Notice the seat supporting you,

Allowing yourself to sink deeper into the seat,

Relaxing while staying focused on the road.

Notice your breathing.

See if you can sense the quality of your breathing.

Does it feel shallow or deep?

Does it feel constricted or like it's flowing?

See if you can deepen your breath,

Breathing into your abdomen,

Just witnessing the breath,

Witnessing how you feel in this moment.

Are you tired or are you feeling refreshed,

Having a moment of gratitude for waking up this morning,

Getting out of bed,

Getting ready,

And getting into your car?

Notice the amount of light in the sky.

Maybe it's still dark out and you can still see the stars.

Maybe the sun is rising and you can see the light on the horizon.

Or is the sun already up and shining?

Having gratitude for the light that fills the sky,

Allowing us to see.

Having gratitude for this new day,

A new beginning.

Take a moment to think about how you want to live today.

When you reflect back on your life,

Will you be proud of the life that you're living?

Not judging yourself,

But just witnessing,

Using it as information to decide how you want to live your life today.

What legacy do you want to leave behind and how do you want to be remembered?

Having gratitude for yourself,

For every day in the past that you have lived and made it through,

All of the ups and downs,

Letting go of all the thoughts,

And bringing your awareness back to your breath and your body,

Taking long,

Slow,

Deep breaths while staying alert and focused on the road,

Allowing yourself to be filled with presence,

Breathing in life force energy with each inhale.

Continue to drive like this for as long as you want.
