Hello Sweet Being,

My name is Brianna and today you've made it to Mind Your Mindful.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable seated position or a comfortable shape for yourself.

Gently closing down through the eyes or welcoming a soft gaze.

Could you take a deep breath in through the nose,

Exhaling slowly through the mouth.

Welcome a softening throughout the body,

Noticing sensation,

And let your breath find its natural effortless rhythm.

As you settle into this moment,

Could you bring your awareness to the forefront of the present space?

Sense the connection between the body and the earth beneath you.

Envision roots growing from the base of the spine,

Extending deeply into the ground,

Anchoring you.

These roots represent your connection to nature,

Reminding you that you are an intrinsic part of this magnificent world.

Imagine your roots,

Yourself as a tree in a forest filled with fresh air,

The sense of pine and rich soil.

You hear the gentle rustling of leaves and the distant melodies of birds,

Creating a soothing symphony.

Feel the cool breeze on your skin,

Carrying with it the whispers of the trees,

Sharing their ancient wisdom with you.

As nature flourishes through balance and harmony,

Every element,

From the tiniest insect or microbiome to the tallest tree or mountain,

Play a vital role in maintaining this delicate equilibrium.

In maintaining this delicate equilibrium,

Could you reflect on how you too are a part of this intricate web,

Reflecting that your actions and intentions can contribute to the well-being of the natural world and in turn to your own well-being?

Taking a moment to notice how your life aligns with the rhythm of nature,

Imagining waking up with the sunrise,

Feeling the sun's warmth guide your awareness to the waking world,

Thinking about the nourishment of your body with the food supplied from the earth and her bounties,

Imagining yourself taking moments throughout the day to connect with the outdoors,

Whether it's a walk in the park or simply looking out the window.

As you continue to draw an awareness on the breath,

Could you imagine sending grace to the breath?

Expressing gratitude to the earth for all it provides,

Expressing thanks for the gift of air,

The water you drink,

And the food you eat,

Acknowledging the beauty and abundance that surrounds you,

And welcoming a respect for this natural landscape,

This ethos to fill your heart with a sense of gratitude.

And as you contemplate all of the ways in which nature and the earth sustains you,

Could you reflect on which ways you could give back?

And this may be through planting a tree,

Reducing your waste,

Or supporting sustainable practices.

Imagine yourself making choices that honor and honor you,

That honor and protect the environment.

Feel the sense of fulfillment and purpose that comes from living in harmony with nature.

And as you bask in the sense of fulfillment,

Could you begin to sense this connection with nature supporting your overall well-being?

A sense of peace and clarity that might arise when you align yourself with the natural world,

Recognizing that by nurturing this bond,

You welcome a deeper sense of belonging and wholeness,

Gently bringing your awareness back to the present moment,

And you may begin to sense a movement in the fingers and toes.

And as you carry this sense of connection and harmony with you,

Remember that you are a vital part of this natural world,

And by working with and for nature,

You can support your own well-being and the well-being of the collective on this earth.

And when you're feeling very ready,

You might wish to open your eyes.

Thank you so much for practicing with me today.
