Michelle Mazza

Marriage & Family Therapist, LMFT

Michelle obtained her Clinical & Sport Psychology degree from John F. Kennedy University in 1997. She began therapeutic training with clients through a Bay Area high school & quickly learned she had a passion for guiding teens through this equally challenging & hopeful adolescent stage. In 2002, she became licensed as a Marriage & Family Therapist & developed a love of collaborating with clients & witnessing meaningful change, which led her to seek additional training in evidence-based therapies. Through 30 years of training & therapeutic experience, she has compassionately guided teens, young adults & parents through personalized treatment plans, teaching them how to feel more comfortable with their emotions & how these experiences guide their actions. Currently, she offers individual therapy, coaching, groups, educational workshops & retreats. She is particularly interested in working with girls & women, providing the education, support & emotional skills to navigate all stages of a female's life. She also works with female athletes & clients dealing with disordered eating, body image issues & assisting them in adhering to nourishing eating habits, healthy weight management & exercise plans.
