Greetings and welcome to the Reclaim Me Introduction Series for Men.
Learning to hear yourself again.
Many men spend years learning how to listen to everything except themselves.
They learn to listen to responsibilities,
To deadlines,
To expectations.
To the needs of the family,
To demands at work.
To the problems that need solving.
The next thing that needs their attention.
And over time,
Something changed.
Important can happen.
The voice within.
Becomes quieter.
Not because it's disappeared,
But because it was always there.
Being replaced.
Behind something else.
It was constantly,
Repeatedly.
Place behind something else.
Perhaps.
You had to ignore your exhaustion or to dismiss.
Your disappointment or to minimize.
Your pain.
Or to hide.
Your emotions.
Or to deny them.
Maybe you've had to talk yourself out of what you truly wanted.
Or convince yourself.
That it wasn't that important.
I can deal with this later.
Many men.
Become experts in pushing through.
But pushing through is not the same as listening.
Is not the same as acknowledging your truth.
It's not the same as living.
As being.
Is not the same as being able to embrace.
Your humanity.
Take a moment just to consider that,
To think about that for a moment.
And if it feels okay,
Ask yourself,
What has my inner voice been trying to tell me?
Not.
What should it say or should I say?
Not what others want me to say or want me to think.
What has your voice been actually saying to you?
Perhaps it's been asking you to rest.
Maybe it's been asking you to change.
Maybe it's been asking you to let go of something that you've been carrying for so long,
For too long.
Maybe it's been asking you for.
.
.
A little attention.
For you to pay attention.
The truth is that your wisdom.
Has never left you.
It's still here.
Is still waiting beneath the noise.
Beneath the pressure.
Beneath the constant movement,
The go,
Go,
Go,
And do,
Do,
Do.
It's still here.
For today's reflection.
I wanna invite you to think about.
This question.
What truth?
Have I known for a long time.
But haven't fully acknowledged it.
And yes,
It may mean that you need to slow down.
Yes,
It may mean that you need to pause.
Yes,
It might mean you need to invest some time.
But you're worth the time.
You're worth the investment.
What truth?
Have you known for a long time?
But you haven't fully acknowledged it.
Thank you so much for being here.
And know that your voice,
Your voice matters.
And it deserves to be heard.
Thank you and bye-bye for now.
