Our next exercise is breath of joy.
But before we get to that,
I just want to just get some movement in the body.
So starting with our head,
Bringing it to our right shoulder.
Down towards our chest.
And then tilting it towards the left.
Down towards the chest.
Over to the right.
Now go ahead and smooth out this movement with just one motion.
Moving from side to side.
Taking as long or short of pauses that you need to.
And then when you've evened out on both sides,
Bring your chin back to center and then look straight up.
We'll come into our shoulders rolling them back.
In circles.
And then reversing the circles.
Rolling them forward.
And then we'll come into our hips.
So feet nice and wide.
We'll rock to one side and then the other.
Bringing our hips forward and then to the side.
Forward and then to the side.
Giving it a little bit of a rocking motion.
I know if we're sitting in class,
This might feel kind of nice.
All right,
And then give it a nice little shake.
It helps.
So breath of joy,
There's three movements to it.
I'm sorry,
Four movements.
So we go inhale.
Inhale.
Inhale and then we cut through in half as we exhale.
Inhale.
Inhale.
Inhale.
Exhale.
So we'll do that a lot faster.
Here we go.
Last time.
And then come back.
Notice how the energy shifted.
Knowing that you don't have to do anything about it,
But just noticing what's going on.
And that is Breath of Joy.
