Welcome to your five-minute morning transition.
I'm Mellie G,
Inviting you to start your day with more clarity,
Intention,
And purpose.
This morning,
I invite you to do that through 5% shifts.
And as you feel ready,
Go ahead and sit comfortably.
And I invite you to gently close your eyes.
And just begin to bring your attention to your breath.
And as you continue breathing,
If it feels comfortable for you,
Practice slowing down your breath just by 5%.
And your mind may start to get very active as you do that.
And just gently returning your attention back to your breath.
And then slowly beginning to widen your awareness to your body.
And relaxing each area of your body just by 5%.
Beginning in your head.
Traveling down to your jaw.
Shoulders.
Down your arms.
Chest.
And as you continue relaxing each part of your body by 5%.
Down your glutes.
Your legs.
And finally to your feet.
Just noticing your whole body a bit more relaxed.
And with awareness of your breath and body,
Taking a moment to think about the day that you have ahead.
Perhaps imagining what would happen if you slowed down your day just by 5%.
What would happen if you generated more kindness or presence in your day just by 5%.
And remembering that big things start in small ways.
And with that,
I invite you to gently bring your awareness back to your breath.
And as you feel ready,
Slowly opening your eyes.
