Welcome to your five minute morning transition.
I'm Mellie G,
Inviting you to start your day with more clarity,
Intention,
And purpose.
To begin,
A short poem by Cleo Wade.
Maybe don't tomorrow your life away.
And using that reading as an invitation to drop into presence.
When you're ready,
I invite you to gently close your eyes.
And just begin to connect to your anchor.
Whether that be your breath,
A sound,
A body sensation.
Just settling in.
And from there,
I invite you to gently start to widen your awareness.
To your body.
And we'll do a brief body scan starting in your feet.
Moving up your legs.
To your hips.
Abdomen.
Chest.
Shoulders.
Neck.
Jaw.
Eyes.
Forehead.
Top of head.
And just taking a moment to scan down your body.
And allow all of it to be part of this present moment.
Part of your awareness.
And from this place,
I invite you to take in gratitude.
For this morning.
This day.
For whatever is present for you right now.
And then with that sense of gratitude,
I invite you to set an intention for your day ahead.
And maybe it's inspired by the poem from before.
About not tomorrowing your life away.
Bringing presence into your day.
And just imagining what your day would look like.
With your set intention.
What would be different.
And really visualizing how you would show up.
And taking a few more deep breaths there.
To really set your intention.
And to begin to prepare to gently open your eyes.
And begin your day ahead of presence.
