Hello and welcome.

If you're listening to this meditation today,

You have found this in our visualization part of Meditation and Me.

Today I'm going to guide you through a visualization to meet your ancestors and your spirit guides.

This is just a chance for you to really go into a deep relaxation.

Just allow your mind to guide you on the little journey that I'm going to take you on and just to release,

Let go,

Don't force anything to happen and just see what comes up.

So I do recommend doing this meditation best lying down.

So whenever you're ready,

Just get yourself into a comfortable position,

Just listen to my voice,

Relax and just allow your mind to take you on the journey.

So in your lying down position,

Just making sure you close down your eyes,

Bringing your hands to the side of your body with your palms facing up to the sky.

I'm just going to gently scan down through our body just to make sure we are in a nice deep relaxed state.

So bringing your awareness into your face,

Resting your cheeks,

Your lips and your eyes.

Taking a nice deep breath all the way in and exhaling and relaxing.

Take a few of those deep breaths,

Just allow the tension to drop from your jaw,

Your face to relax with ease and bringing your awareness down to your shoulders,

Relaxing your shoulders all the way through your arms to your fingers,

Softening with your breath in and softening with your breath out,

Just deepening your body,

Feeling your chest and your belly rise and fall with each breath in and each breath out,

Bringing your awareness down through your body now,

Your belly,

Your hips,

Your thighs,

All the way down to your ankles and toes,

Using your breath to guide you to relax and release any muscles that are holding on to any tension.

And before we begin our journey to meet our ancestors and spirit guides,

As you would lie in here with your breath,

I want you to imagine from the top of your head a bright white light just expands out through the crown of your head as you breathe in and as you exhale,

It blankets around the side of your body and comes in through your feet.

So you're going to breathe in and bring your white light through your body out through the crown of your head and then exhale and feel that white light just create a shield around your body and just repeat this as many times as you can and as we visualize this white light,

We are just creating a nice shield of protection around our body,

Visualizing ourself almost in a nice white bubble and this place is safe,

You feel peaceful and at ease and just notice how your body feels as you surround yourself in this white light.

Your mind becomes blank and the brightness of the white light just starts to take over your mind and you start to notice that your thoughts,

Your visualizations just start to disappear and this blank canvas just comes over your mind.

And in this space,

I want you to imagine yourself in a white room and the four walls that surround you,

The floor underneath you and the ceiling above you has nothing but blank walls and just bring yourself into this space,

Create this space of no thoughts or feelings or sensation and ahead of you,

You will see a door at the other side of the room and as you slowly start to walk towards this door,

You can visualize that the door is maybe square,

Maybe it's arched,

What texture is it,

Is it wood?

And just really visualize the door in front of you as you take each step,

Breathe in as you walk in and out,

You calmly walk towards the door and you notice the handle and with your right or left hand,

You take a breath in and you reach forward for the handle and as you exhale,

You're going to slowly turn that handle on the door and open the door towards you and in front of you,

You visualize a tunnel and you slowly start to walk down the tunnel and as you do,

What is this tunnel made of?

Is it an arch full of flowers or is it dark and underground?

Just visualize your tunnel,

What does it look like,

How does it feel as you walk each step,

Breathing as you walk,

Keeping your essence nice and calm.

And as you walk down this tunnel,

I want you to imagine something that you might like to ask your spirit guides or ancestors,

Ask to call upon your angels for protection as you walk through your tunnel to the other end.

And after you've done this,

Taking some nice deep breaths all the way in,

You slowly start to get towards the end of your tunnel and on the other side of your tunnel,

You are going to step out of your tunnel and you're going to meet your spirit guides and ancestors on the other side,

So taking a nice deep breath in and a deep breath out,

Slowly walking towards the end of your tunnel and at the end of the tunnel is another door,

Reminding yourself of the questions you would like to ask them before you open the door.

Ask your spirit guides and ancestors the questions that you need to know and they will show you when you step through this door.

Taking a deep breath all the way in,

You ask them to come forward and show you what you need to know.

Breathing out nice and deeply,

You reach with your right or left hand to the handle of your door and you step out.

And take a moment to notice what's on the other side,

Are you inside or outside?

Notice what's around you,

Who can you see?

What can you smell?

What clothes are you wearing?

Are you a boy or a girl?

And ask your spirit guides and ancestors to come forth and show you the answers you need to know.

Just allow your breath to guide you on this journey.

Notice any feelings that may arise,

The messages you are being shown,

Or even the small subtle words that may pop into your mind.

And in this space we allow healing to come forth with our spirit guides and ancestors upon the answers that we wish to know.

Just allow them to take you on a little journey,

Visualising,

Guiding you with an open heart.

Just keep your breath calm by breathing in and out.

And just take some time now in silence with your breath to enjoy this moment with your spirit guides and ancestors and they will show you everything that you need to know,

Just listen carefully.

Notice the sensations in your body,

The feelings that arise.

Now it's time to bring yourself back into your body.

Thank your spirit guides and ancestors for showing you everything that you need to know.

And just walking back towards your door,

Your tunnel.

You're going to slowly start to make your journey back into your body,

Into the world.

Just gradually and slowly bringing your awareness back to your body.

Stretching,

Moving,

Bringing your awareness back,

Joining your awareness with my voice.

And just slowly beginning to reawaken your body and when you do wake upon this meditation I would recommend just grabbing a journal,

Making some notes of anything that might have arisen during the meditation.

And just spend some time reflecting and sitting with any of the sensations that came up for you,

Any of the visualizations and the journey.

And you can do this meditation frequently if you would like to connect with your spirit guides and ancestors.

And if you didn't manage to do so you can practice this meditation frequently and practicing meditation frequently will just help you to get into that state of being able to connect on a deeper level out of our conscious mind and into our subconscious.
