This meditation will help you start your day feeling grateful, grounded, and confident. You’ll repeat gentle affirmations and reflect on both the blessings and the challenges in your life. Do this practice as soon as you wake up, and try repeating it daily for 30 days. Quietly repeat each phrase after me — even if you don’t fully believe it at first — and notice how the words begin to shift something within you. As you practice, you’ll feel more present, open-hearted, and ready for the day ahead.

Hello,

I'm Miriam.

Welcome to this morning meditation for gratitude,

Self-belief,

And growth.

As we move through this meditation,

I invite you to quietly repeat each phrase after me,

Allowing the words to settle in your mind,

Body,

And heart.

Now take a moment to get comfortable and allow yourself to arrive fully in this moment.

Soften your gaze or close your eyes if that feels comfortable for you.

Take a deep breath in through your nose.

Open your mouth and slowly let it all out.

Now let your body soften.

Allow your mind to be quiet and your heart to open as we begin.

As I wake up this morning,

I remind myself to feel gratitude.

Gratitude for this breath.

For this new day.

For this chance to begin again.

I choose to be grateful not only for the good moments but also for the challenges.

It's the challenges that remind me of my strength and help me grow.

I choose to stay open-hearted to the ease,

To the effort,

And to everything that unfolds along the way.

I choose to believe in myself fully and I will hold on to this belief all day.

I'll treat myself with kindness and with the same compassion I offer to others.

As I move through my day,

I'll try to notice the small things.

The quiet moments.

The small lessons life gives me.

Every moment,

Every emotion,

And every experience is part of my healing.

Even when it doesn't make sense right away,

I trust that it's helping me grow.

I am changing,

Healing,

And growing.

I'm doing it at my own pace and I welcome it.

Even when things feel slow or uncertain,

I trust that it's all moving in the right direction.

Today,

I choose to be patient with myself,

To stay open,

And to keep showing up one step at a time.

If I fall out of balance,

I'll simply come back.

Back to my breath.

Back to kindness.

Back to me.

Today,

I accept myself fully.

With all my flaws and imperfections.

With all my weaknesses and strengths.

I honour how far I've come.

I believe in who I am.

And I trust where I'm headed.

As I move through my day,

I will remain present,

Grateful,

And open-hearted.

Knowing that I'm capable and strong,

Worthy of love,

And deserving of all the good that life has to offer.

Take a deep breath in,

And a long breath out.

Allow these words to fully settle.

Taking a few moments to notice any shifts in your body,

In your breath,

In your mind.

Slowly bring your hands to heart centre.

Bow your head to your hands and thank yourself for spending this time for yourself.

Thank you so much for taking this time to meditate with me.

I hope you carry this sense of calm,

Self-belief,

And gratitude with you as you move through your day.

Thank you.

That was an amazing and moving practice that filled me with such gratitude and self compassion. I will be coming back to this one again and again I’m sure.
