Maryam Vahedi

Maryam Vahedi is a meditation and yoga teacher specializing in nervous system regulation and the art of deep rest. With over 1,000 hours of combined training and teaching experience, Maryam helps students move from the friction of "doing" to the ease of "being." Her teaching integrates Vinyasa Flow, Yin Yoga, Breathwork, and Yoga Nidra to support physical and mental integration. By utilizing breath-led movement and intentional stillness, Maryam offers a range of practices, from "Slow Flow" sequences that build heat to Yin and restorative techniques that target deep somatic release. Her focus remains on providing accessible tools to combat burnout, manage stress, and resolve insomnia. This Gentle Grounding Meditation is such a great tool to have in the toolbox. It’s perfect for days when I’m feeling tense, scattered, or overwhelmed. Maryam’s calming voice and thoughtful, well-guided approach make it easy to slow the breath, release tension, and gently turn down the nervous system. I always finish feeling more present, grounded, and settled. Highly recommend coming back to this one whenever you need a reset.

I really enjoyed this meditation practice on finding calm through the five senses. I’ve used this technique in real moments of anxiety, but this was a new twist for me—imagining things I love to see, hear, touch, and more. It brought a surprising sense of comfort and made the practice even more calming. The teacher’s pacing and guidance were calm, steady, and reassuring, making it easy to settle in and stay present. A thoughtful, well-led session I can definitely see myself returning to when I need to reset.
