Hello and thank you for taking the time to listen to this short reflection.
My name is Mark Rowland and I thought I'd tell you a little bit about why I make these meditations.
If you've listened to my tracks for a while,
You'll probably notice that I often talk about anxiety,
Not feeling enough,
Loss,
Relationships ending,
Feeling stuck and overthinking.
And basically just trying to find your way when life feels a bit uncertain.
The reason why I make these meditations on those subjects is.
.
.
Simple,
Really.
It's just because I've lived through all of those things myself.
Well,
I say I lived through.
I'm still living through them.
Yes,
Some belong to the past,
And some I'm still figuring out.
And I certainly don't have life all worked out.
And to be honest,
I don't think I ever will.
I'm not just sitting here pretending to have all the answers.
I'm just trying to share what has genuinely helped me through the harder and tougher parts of my life.
I've read so many books and learned from wonderful magical teachers.
And I'm really grateful for all of that,
But.
.
.
The lessons that have stayed with me most deeply are the ones Life has taught me directly.
When I'm personally struggling,
I naturally find myself drawn to people who speak from lived experience.
People who can say,
I've been there.
Rather than simply explaining a theory.
It reminds me that I'm not the only one trying to make sense of life.
And my hope is these meditations offer a bit of that same feeling to you.
If you're listening and life feels a bit heavy right now.
Please know that you're not listening to someone who's standing on top of a mountain shouting advice down to you.
No,
You're listening to someone who's still walking the path too,
Still figuring it out themselves.
I've found a few things that have made the journey a little lighter.
And these meditations I share are simply my way.
Of passing them on.
If just one meditation helps you breathe a little easier,
Sleep a little better.
Or be more kind and compassionate to yourself.
Then sharing my own experiences has been more than worthwhile.
None of us have to figure life out alone.
Thank you so much for listening to this short talk and I'm really glad our paths have crossed.
Have a beautiful rest of your day.
Go in peace.
Namaste.
