Let's begin by finding a comfortable position.
Whether that's seated or lying down.
Just whatever you decide to do.
Allow your feet to connect with the earth beneath you.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
And exhale softly through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale through the nose.
And softly through your mouth.
Breathing in the safety of this moment.
And breathing out any tension.
Allowing this breath to stay with you throughout this practice.
Being in through the nose.
And slowly softly through the mouth.
And as you continue that slow,
Intentional breath.
Allow your awareness to travel down into your body.
Notice the places your body is making contact.
With the chair.
The bed.
The pillow,
The floor,
The mat.
Or maybe even the earth beneath you.
Feel yourself being supported.
No effort required.
Just supported.
Take another deep inhale in.
And imagine roots beginning to extend from the base of your spine as you exhale.
Seeing these roots extending from between your sit bones,
Or if your feet,
The soles of your feet are on the earth,
Imagine roots.
Growing from the bottom.
All the way into the earth.
Growing down.
Down.
Deeper.
And deeper into the earth.
And with every breath.
These roots become stronger.
Thicker.
Steadier.
More connected.
Allow the earth to hold you.
To support you.
To carry you in this moment.
You do not have to carry everything alone.
You do not have to figure everything out right now.
You belong here.
You are safe to take up space.
You are safe to be exactly where you are.
Feeling that truth,
All of those truths flowing through the roots.
Between your sit bones.
And maybe even from the soles of your feet.
Just allowing that truth to nourish you.
To feed you.
To support you.
To hold you.
And now bring your attention.
To the area at the base of your spine.
Imagine a warm,
Red light glowing from that space.
And with each breath,
The light becomes brighter.
Stronger.
Steadier.
More alive.
Allow this light to spread through your hips,
Your legs,
Your feet.
Filling the entire lower half of your body with this red,
Bright,
Illuminated light.
Filling your entire body with a sense of safety,
Belonging,
And trust.
And as you sit or lie here,
Ask yourself.
Where do I already feel supported?
What would help me feel even more rooted?
What am I ready to trust?
Listen.
Be still.
Receive whatever comes through.
No forcing.
No fixing.
Just noticing.
Letting the stillness and the steadiness of the Earth.
And fill you up.
Take one final deep breath in.
And exhale slowly.
Allowing this light to gently fade away from your third eye.
From your imagination.
And while the light fades,
The truth stays.
The feelings of being supported.
Loved.
Carried,
Seen.
Stay with you.
As you have reconnected your root.
To the Mother Earth.
And over the next few breaths.
Allowing yourself.
To wiggle your fingers.
Wiggle your toes.
Bringing some life and movement back into your body.
And when you're ready.
Gently open your eyes.
Returning to the space that you're in.
And allowing yourself to move through.
The rest of your day.
Knowing that you are rooted.
In the earth.
That you are safe.
Supported.
And surrendered into this space.
