To begin this self-love meditation,
I'm going to invite you to find a comfortable seated position either on a meditation pillow or on a folded blanket or even in a chair.
So find a comfortable place.
You want your spine erect,
Your ears over your shoulders,
And your shoulders over your hips.
And once you find this position,
You're going to want to take a deep inhale and exhale through your mouth.
Inhale through the nose,
Exhale through the mouth.
Last time,
Inhale through your nose,
Exhale through your mouth.
Now I want you to imagine that there is a light shining through your spine.
So from the crown of your head into the heavens,
Through your spine and down into Mother Earth.
See this light like a rod all the way deep down into the core of the earth,
Shooting up through you and through your spine into the heavens above,
The universe above.
And feel this energy percolating up and down your spine.
Tap into that energy,
Feel that source energy flowing through you.
And as you feel that energy flowing through you,
I want you to begin relaxing your body.
We're going to start at your forehead,
Relaxing the skin of your forehead,
Feeling that weight.
Allow it to feel heavy so that your eyebrows are not raised,
They're nice and relaxed.
Then imagine the weight of calm on your eyelids,
Then your cheekbones,
Your jawline.
Release any tension in your jaw and in your mouth.
Let that relaxation flow down to your neck.
Release any tension in your neck.
Allow your shoulders to relax.
In this moment,
You don't have to carry any weight.
You can just relax and just be present.
Feel that relaxation flowing down your arms,
Filling your elbows,
Just relaxing,
Hanging ever so sweetly next to your sides,
Allowing that relaxation to flow through your chest,
Down to your stomach and your belly,
Into your pelvic floor,
Just feeling deep relaxation.
Now allow your thighs to rest.
Allow that tension to release.
Let your knees just fall open.
Let them just relax down to your calves and your ankles,
Down to your feet.
Allow this wave of relaxation to flow through your entire body,
Breathing into that relaxation,
Allowing yourself to just be present in this moment in your body,
Completely at peace.
No weight,
No tension,
Just pure relaxation.
Now I want you to imagine a golden,
Honey-like light pouring down onto the top of your head.
Now imagine this honey-like substance just flowing down over your head,
Your entire skull,
Front and back,
Covering your eyes,
Your nose,
Your cheeks,
Your mouth,
Your jaw,
Feeling the warmth of this light as it coats your body.
And with this light comes love,
Compassion and forgiveness.
Allow this golden honey-like substance to just flow down your shoulders,
Across your chest,
Down your arms,
And feel the warmth of the love,
The compassion and the forgiveness that is coming with this honey-like golden light.
Let it keep flowing down your belly,
Down to your hips,
Coating your thighs,
Your knees,
Your calves,
Your ankles,
All the way down to your toes.
Let this honey-like golden light envelop your entire being with loving source light,
Wrapping you in unconditional love,
In compassion and in forgiveness.
Just allow yourself to be present with this energy.
Feel your body vibrating at this frequency of love,
Compassion and forgiveness.
Absorb that feeling.
Be present with it.
And now imagine this honey-like substance is coming down from your body and it's going to start pouring into the earth.
So now you are emerging,
Starting at your head and your eyes,
Your nose,
Your cheeks.
You're beginning to emerge from this light.
And as this light is flowing into the earth,
As it leaves your body,
Let it take with it any negative self-talk,
Any stagnant energy,
Anything that received your forgiveness,
Anything that's no longer serving you,
Any shame.
Allow those things to leave with this golden light so that as you emerge,
You emerge a loving,
Compassionate,
Confident,
And forgiven person.
So now your shoulders are free.
Your chest is free.
Your arms continuing to allow this light to pull out any negativity,
Anything that's no longer serving you.
Allow it to leave with that light.
And now you're fully emerged from your hips up.
And as this last little bit of light leaves your body and into Mother Earth,
Feel the release of negativity.
Feel the release of things that are no longer serving you.
Allow them to be pulled from you and give them back to Mother Earth.
She can transmute that energy.
She can recycle it into something new,
But you no longer have to hold it.
You no longer have to carry anything that's no longer serving you.
Allow that to leave.
And as the final piece of golden honey-like substance slips past your toes,
Take a deep inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
Inhale through your nose,
Exhale through your mouth.
Inhale one last time and exhale.
And as you bring your presence back into the space that you're in,
You can open your eyes,
Reacclimate to the room,
And join the collective now.
