Find a comfortable position.
And allow your eyes to close.
Begin by noticing.
That you are here.
And feel the support beneath you.
The weight of your body.
Places where your body makes contact with the floor.
The chair or the bed.
There's nothing you need to accomplish right now.
Nothing you need to become.
For this moment,
You can simply arrive.
Notice the breath coming and going on its own.
If you like,
You may add a gentle hum as you exhale.
A soft,
Relaxed.
Mmmmmmm.
Without trying to create a particular sound.
Simply feel the vibration moving through your body.
Release a sound that connects you with spaciousness and stillness.
Or simply stay with your natural breath.
Now imagine that your inhale begins deep within the earth beneath you.
As you breathe in.
Quiet nourishing current rises through the center of your body.
Through your pelvis and abdomen.
Through your heart and chest.
All the way to the crown of your head.
As you breathe out,
The current gently moves back through the center of your body,
Returning to the earth.
Earth to sky,
Sky back to earth.
You don't need to see the movement clearly.
You may just sense it.
And let this rhythm remind your nervous system.
You are supported.
You're allowed to slow down.
Your inner and outer worlds can be connected.
Now allow the breath to return to its natural rhythm.
Perhaps your body feels a little heavier.
Or karma.
Perhaps simply more settled in itself.
And while your body rests.
Let one part of you observe.
The breath,
The sensations.
The thoughts and the images.
Rest in the awareness in which all of this is being noticed.
Now imagine a spacious,
Protected place.
Opening in your inner vision.
You may experience it.
As a circular room,
A bright hall.
A garden.
Or a place in nature.
Let it appear in whatever way.
Feels natural to you.
This is your inner council chamber.
A place where different parts of your experience can be seen and met.
You do not need to know this place.
It can simply arise because you're giving yourself permission to turn inward.
Now take a moment to look around.
What is the atmosphere of this space?
Is it bright?
Or dim.
Open or enclosed.
Is there a place where you feel especially at ease?
At the center,
Imagine a seat.
Place or light,
Representing your deepest inner wisdom.
The part of you that sees beyond any single role,
Story or pattern.
You may experience it as your true self.
The Loving Presence.
Of the supreme source or the highest truth you feel connected to.
Imagine this wise presence here with you,
Quiet,
Clear,
And free of judgement.
Perhaps you now notice other places in the room.
They may represent different qualities or parts of you.
Your reason,
Your vitality,
Your vulnerability.
Your strength.
Your creativity.
Your capacity to love.
And your ability to take action.
You do not need to name or organize anything.
Simply notice.
There are many experiences and qualities within me.
And I can meet them without being overwhelmed by them.
Now from the center of your heart,
Allow a soft,
Steady light to expand.
It is bright and golden in color.
Let it slowly fill the entire inner space.
Forming a brilliant pillar of light.
It extends from deep within the earth.
Through the ceiling and far beyond you.
A connection to a source of clarity,
Life and goodness.
It is a pathway of release and return for whatever is ready to leave since it is no longer needed for your growth and development.
Now very gently.
Invite.
The part of your experience.
That once developed to protect you.
And allow it to leave you now.
And make itself known.
You may silently say,
If you wish,
You may show yourself.
In whatever way feels safe and helpful today.
You do not need to search or make anything happen.
Perhaps an image appears.
Perhaps a figure,
A color.
A body sensation.
Or simply a mode.
Perhaps nothing appears at first.
And that is completely OK.
If something becomes noticeable.
Welcome it with kindness.
As you might meet someone who has been carrying difficult responsibility for a very long time.
You can silently say.
I see you.
You were trying to protect me.
When I did not yet know how to protect myself.
Thank you for what you have carried.
There is no need to fight this part or judge it.
It may feel uncomfortable.
It may seem suspicious,
Angry.
Sad,
Controlling,
Or exhausted.
You do not have to like it.
You only need to allow yourself to notice it.
And you don't need to get into the old story.
And if nothing distinct appears.
You can simply bring your attention to a place in your body that feels tense,
Heavy.
Are especially alert.
You might ask.
What does it cost me today when you continue carrying this old assignment?
Perhaps beneath the old protective pattern,
You'll recognize an original need.
Safety,
A voice,
Rest,
Belonging.
Strength.
Healthy boundaries.
All loving support.
What once formed as a protective pattern in your mind.
Does not touch the purity of your deepest self and inner awareness.
Now ask,
Not from the thinking mind,
But by listening to your body.
Am I ready to let go of this old part of me now?
If a genuine yes arises,
You might say,
You belong to an earlier stage of my growth.
You have fulfilled your purpose.
I thank you.
And I now release you from this old assignment.
Now imagine this part slowly moving toward the golden pillar of light.
Being released back to source at its own pace.
If you feel or see.
That there are more parts ready to be released.
Allow them to leave one by one.
Now bring your attention back.
Of the wise place at the center.
Of your inner space.
What quality or trait may I invite into my being now so that I can live with greater freedom,
Authenticity and alignment with my highest goal and truth?
Try not to invent the answer.
Let it arise as a word,
A color,
An image.
Warmth or quiet knowing.
And then open yourself up.
To receive this quality from the source.
As a gift of grace.
Imagine this quality.
Being attracted to you.
And flowing through the golden.
Channel of light into your being.
Perhaps it reaches your heart first.
Perhaps it moves toward a place where you felt tension earlier.
Or perhaps it spreads throughout your entire body.
Let it reveal itself only as fully as your system can receive today.
Feel how all these new parts harmonize in your core and radiate your inner light outwards.
Now offer your gratitude to everything that supported you in this inner space.
Your own willingness,
Your inner wisdom,
The source of light and any helpful presence that was here with you.
The inner space does not have to disappear.
It can remain within you.
As a resource.
Let the golden pillar of light shine.
Slowly withdraw.
And know that you can always return there.
And now bring your awareness back to your body.
Feel the support beneath you.
Notice the temperature of the air.
Become aware of the sounds around you.
Gently deepen your breath.
And slowly move the fingers and toes.
Perhaps roll your shoulders or stretch in whatever way feels good.
Take your time.
And when you're ready.
.
.
Open your eyes.
Feel the ground beneath you.
You are here.
In this body.
In this moment.
As you finish,
Notice what feels even slightly different.
Even if it is only a little more space,
Quiet or clarity.
You do not need to analyze the experience.
Perhaps you may want to write down a few words later what appeared,
What was trying to be protected,
What was released and what new qualities asking for space in the coming days.
For now,
One quiet breath is enough.
Inhale.
Arriving.
Exhale.
Releasing.
Inhale.
Receiving.
Exhale.
Trusting life.
If you practice this meditation regularly,
Choose only as much depth as feels safe and supportive.
Inner change does not have to be forced.
Sometimes healing begins simply by allowing a previously overlooked part of you to be met with kindness.
