Welcome.
Take a moment to settle into your space.
And find a comfortable position.
Either sitting the tall relaxed spine.
Or lying down.
Gently close your eyes.
Let's begin with three deep nourishing breaths.
Inhale deeply through your nose.
Join the breath.
Down into your belly.
And exhale softly through your mouth.
Releasing any media tension.
Inhale,
Gathering awareness.
Exhale,
Letting the shoulders drop away from your ears.
One more time,
Deep inhale.
And a long slow exhale.
Now allow your breath to return.
To its natural rhythm.
You don't need to control it.
Just observe it.
The gentle rise and fall.
Right now you are safe.
There's nowhere else you need to be.
And there's nothing else you need to do.
Bring your awareness.
To your physical body.
And feel the weight of your body.
Supported by the surface beneath you.
You're grounded.
You held.
And now let us journey inward.
Imagine your mind,
Your chitta.
As a vast open sky.
Boundless.
Untouched.
Always here.
Across this sky,
Clouds sometimes pass.
Thoughts,
Daily concerns.
And sometimes our hurts and grievances.
When we have been hurt,
The clouds can grow heavy and dark.
The Gatherer.
They block the light.
But remember,
You are not the clouds.
You are the sky.
If there is a hurt here with you now.
You don't need to push it away.
Or explain it.
Or make it disappear.
Just let it be seen the way the sky simply holds whatever passes through it.
Is here.
And like every cloud,
It is passing.
Notice that the pain you carry the hurt,
The anger,
The feeling of betrayal.
These are not you.
They are simply weather,
Passing conditions.
Moving across something.
That was never touched by them.
Layers of the Ego.
Trying to protect you.
The way clouds gather.
Block light too tender to feel.
Now bring your attention to the center of your chest.
Your heart center.
Visualize a soft warm light growing here.
Like the sun,
Always shining,
Even when clouds cover it.
This is your true heart,
Vast,
Warm,
And untouched by any storm.
As you breathe in.
Imagine one heavy cloud thinning.
Dissolving,
Drifting on.
Exhale light.
Inhale light.
Exhale,
Letting a layer of resentment drift away.
Inhale warmth.
Exhale,
Releasing the tight grip of pain.
As the clouds part,
Notice what remains.
The light in your heart grows brighter.
A brilliant golden warmth.
This light is not only yours.
Within this heart space,
You are intimately connected.
To the supreme.
The Parmatma.
The divine source of all love.
You are never alone.
You are held in an embrace of infinite grace.
Feel that connection now.
From this place of connection.
Forgiveness is no longer a difficult task.
It is a natural overflow.
Like sunlight that simply pours through wherever the sky has cleared.
When we remember that we are all connected.
All parts of the supreme whole.
We understand that holding on to anger and grief.
Resentment.
Only clouds our own sky.
The person who heard you.
Is also a soul perhaps lost in their own storm.
Acting from their own layers of ego and pain.
You do not have to condone their actions.
But you can choose to let this particular cloud pass rather than holding it fixed overhead.
Imagine that golden light.
From your heart expanding.
Meeting the memory of the hurt.
Not to erase it.
But to soften its charge.
Watch it thin like a cloud.
Catching the first light of morning.
And drift on.
Feel the lightness.
That comes with release.
Your sky is clearing.
Wide open again.
Exactly as it always was beneath the weather.
You're reclaiming your energy.
Returning to your true joyful nature.
Let us anchor this with an affirmation.
Repeat it silently,
Feeling the truth of the words resonate in your heart center.
I am the open sky.
Connected to the divine.
I let the heavy clouds of the ego pass through me.
I choose to forgive.
To free my own heart.
I am bathed in light.
And overflowing with love.
Rest here for a few moments in this clear,
Open space.
And feel the warmth.
Of your beautiful,
Boundless heart.
Feel the quiet strength.
A real connection to the Supreme.
Now slowly,
Gently.
Begin to bring your awareness.
Back to your breath.
Notice the cool air entering your nose.
And the warm air leaving.
Feel the surface beneath you.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
And take one more deep clearing breath in.
And the long releasing breath out.
And whenever you're ready.
Softly open your eyes.
And carry this light.
This clear open sky.
And this beautiful open heart.
With you into the rest of your day.
Namaste.
