Close your eyes gently,

And take a slow,

Nourishing breath in.

Hold at the top,

Then release it like a long,

Peaceful sigh.

Breathe in,

Hold.

Imagine each breath as a gentle wave washing over your body,

Softening your shoulders,

Loosening your jaw,

Slowing your heartbeat.

With each exhale,

Feel the world outside fade just a little,

Until it's only you,

Here,

In this safe space.

Whisper to yourself,

I am a child of creation.

Picture the universe as a vast,

Starlit ocean,

And you,

A spark of light born from its depths.

Every mountain,

Every river,

Every star in the night sky is made from the same energy that made you.

Let yourself wonder,

What does it mean to belong to something so infinite?

It might mean you are not here by chance,

That you are part of something vast and beautiful.

You were created on purpose,

For a purpose,

And yet,

You may feel resistance.

Maybe a voice says,

I don't feel special,

I'm just another person,

I don't know where I fit in.

Contemplate,

What other thoughts are lying underneath the surface that hold you back from being you?

If that voice is present,

Don't push it away.

Instead,

Just breathe softly,

And say,

Even if I cannot yet see my purpose,

It still flows within me.

That same creative force that paints the flowers and sunsets created me,

And I am part of its beauty.

Feel that truth ripple through you.

You are the sunlight breaking through the clouds.

Let these words rise in your mind,

I am unique.

Feel them settle in your heart.

Your voice has its own melody.

Your hands carry their own history.

Your life tells a story no one else can tell.

Think of the countless faces in the world,

And know that not one of them is you.

But sometimes,

A shadow of doubt appears,

I'm not special enough.

Others,

My differences make me less.

Contemplate,

What other shadows are looming underneath?

You are unique.

Breathe into that shadow,

And gently say to it,

My uniqueness is my power.

There has never been,

And never will be,

Another me.

Let yourself imagine a world without your unique energy.

It would be missing something irreplaceable.

Let that truth sink in.

You are unique.

Now let your breath deepen as you speak to yourself again.

I,

Worthy of love.

Worthy of joy.

Worthy of rest and peace.

Not because of what you do now,

But because you are here.

Perhaps a voice disagrees.

Contemplate,

And search for your underlying beliefs.

Bring them to the surface.

I am unique.

They might have said something like,

I haven't earned it.

I've made too many mistakes.

Others deserve it more.

Just smile gently toward that voice,

That feeling.

And let your compassionate heart answer,

My worth is not something I have to earn.

It was given to me at birth.

Nothing I've done or will do can take away my worth.

Feel that truth seep into every part of you,

Like warm sunlight melting away the cold.

Let your body relax into the knowing that you are enough.

Right now.

Just as you are.

Take a long deep breath in.

And release it slowly.

Carry these truths with you.

You are a child of creation.

You are unique.

And in this moment,

You,

When you're ready,

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes.

Close your eyes.

And step forward into your day,

Grounded in your truth.
