Meditation six,
The sacred pause.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Notice its natural rhythm without changing it.
Imagine that you're holding a snow globe.
Inside is a tiny scene of your life,
Your work,
Your relationships,
Your daily rhythms,
All the moving parts.
For months,
This snow globe has been shaken,
Swirling,
Busy,
Beautiful,
But chaotic.
Now,
See yourself setting it down gently.
Watch as the snow begins to settle,
Slowly,
Gradually,
Piece by piece.
The scene becomes clear.
You can see what's actually there when the whirlwind stops.
This is the sacred pause,
The moment when you stop creating,
Producing,
Pushing forward,
And simply allow yourself to see.
What do you notice when the snow settles?
What matters most?
What can you release?
What wants tending?
Sit with this clarity,
This stillness.
This is not laziness or giving up.
This is wisdom.
This is the integration your soul has been asking for.
The snow globe will be shaken again.
Life will swirl and spin,
But you'll remember this moment,
This pause,
This clarity.
You can return here anytime.
Before you go,
Take three deep breaths.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Welcome back to the sacred pause.
