Meditation one,
Rooted in stillness,
Close your eyes and take a slow breath in.
Exhale gently,
Let your body soften,
Your shoulders release,
Your jaw unclenches and your hands rest in ease.
In your mind's eye,
You find yourself in a winter forest,
The air is crisp,
Filled with a quiet purity of snow.
Each breath becomes visible,
A reminder of your life force.
Beneath your feet,
Snow crunches softly,
Anchoring you to the earth.
Beneath it all is solid ground,
Unwavering and steady.
Roots extend from the soles of your feet deep into the earth.
With every inhale,
Draw up strength and stability.
With every exhale,
Release the weight of the past year,
Letting the earth transform it.
Place your hand over your heart and feel its steady rhythm.
Quiet reminder,
You are alive,
Present,
Here.
The forest mirrors your inner rhythm,
Trees stand bare and still.
Nature knows the wisdom of slowing down,
Of gathering energy,
Of waiting for light to return.
You too are invited to this rhythm.
Breathe in,
I am held.
Breathe out,
I am grounded.
Breathe in,
I am safe.
Breathe out,
I am steady.
When you are ready,
Gently call your roots back into your body,
Bringing nourishment with them.
One last deep inhale,
One soft exhale.
Now carry with you this truth.
You are rooted in stillness.
You are safe to rest.
