Let's begin by stepping outside and taking a deep breath in.
Filling your lungs with fresh air as you exhale release any tension or worries from your body.
As you embark on this walking meditation bring your attention to your surroundings.
Notice the sights,
Smells and sounds that surround you.
Take a moment to express gratitude for the beauty of nature that you are able to witness.
With each step you take feel a sense of gratitude for the gift of movement.
Appreciate the ability of your body to carry you through this journey supporting you every step of the way.
Feel the ground beneath your feet connecting you to the earth.
As you continue walking take notice of the trees and plants that line your path.
Acknowledge the oxygen they provide allowing you to breathe in the fresh air.
Express gratitude for all living beings and the harmony and joy that nature and the earth create.
Take a moment to reflect on the gift of life itself.
Express gratitude for the opportunity to be alive.
To experience the beauty of the world around you.
Feel a deep sense of appreciation for each breath you take.
Knowing that it sustains you and allows you to fully engage in this present moment.
As you walk bring your attention to your senses.
Notice the warmth of the sun on your skin.
The gentle breeze that brushes against your face.
And the sounds of nature that surround you.
Express gratitude for the abundance of sensory experiences that enrich your life.
Now as you continue your walk begin to reflect on the things you are grateful for in your life.
Take a moment to silently list three things that you are thankful for today.
Allow yourself to truly feel the gratitude for these blessings.
With each step let your gratitude grow and expand within you.
Visualize this gratitude as a warm golden light emerging from your heart.
Spreading to every cell in your entire body.
Feel this gratitude radiating outwards touching the world around you.
As you continue your walk take a moment to offer a final expression of gratitude for this opportunity to connect with yourself and the world around you.
Take a deep breath in and as you exhale release any remaining tension or worries.
When you are ready slowly bring your walk to a close.
Take a moment to reflect on the gratitude you have cultivated during this meditation and carry it with you throughout your day.
