Good morning and welcome.
This short tapping session is here to help you begin your day feeling calm,
Centred and supported,
Especially if you're a sensitive soul like me who tends to wake up with a busy mind or a tender heart.
Let's start by taking a few gentle breaths together.
So you can inhale gently through your nose and then exhale slowly through your mouth.
And then I invite you to gently tap along with me using your fingertips on the standard EFT points starting at the top of the head and then with every sentence I'm going to say you can move down to the next point.
And remember,
There's no wrong way to do this.
Just follow what's right for you.
Let's begin.
On the side of the hand,
Say even though I sometimes wake up already feeling tension,
Today I'm open to meeting myself with gentleness.
And then start on top of the head,
Tap there and say this tightness I already feel in my body,
Down to the eyebrow,
The thoughts that are already spinning for me,
Side of the eye,
The pressure to get everything right today,
Under the eye,
I acknowledge all that I'm carrying,
And under the nose,
And I give myself permission to just pause,
And then hollow the chin,
Just for a moment,
I allow myself to soften,
Collarbone,
I don't have to start slowly today,
And then just take a nice deep breath in,
And out,
And we'll continue with another round,
So starting on top of the head again,
I invite calm into this new day,
Eyebrow,
I breathe in peace,
And breathe out tension,
Side of the eye,
I choose kindness towards myself,
Under the eye,
Even if the day ahead feels really full,
Under the nose,
I can move through it really gently,
On the chin,
Today I choose to honour my sensitive nature,
Collarbone,
It's just not a flaw,
It is my superpower,
Under the palm,
I choose to begin this day with ease and grace,
And then just another nice deep breath in and out,
I'm starting to feel relaxed,
I don't know about you,
And then one last round,
Starting on top of the head,
Today I choose to take one gentle step at a time,
On the eyebrow,
I allow myself to feel supported,
Side of the eye,
I trust that I'll know what needs my attention,
Under the eye,
And I trust that I can rest when I need to,
Under the nose,
My energy is valuable,
On the chin,
I honour that,
The collarbone,
I honour and respect me,
And then under the arm,
May I move through this day with calm and self-compassion,
And then again,
Take a nice deep breath in,
And let it out slowly,
Just notice how your body feels now,
And then thank yourself for showing up with care for yourself this morning,
You're not alone,
There is support in so many places and we don't often notice it,
And you just don't have to push,
You can do this gently today,
May your day be filled with moments of ease,
