Welcome dear sensitive soul.

If you've found yourself caught in self-criticism in this moment,

Let's use this short tapping practice to soften that voice.

Start by taking a deep breath in and out and then begin tapping gently with me now.

Starting on top of the head,

This harsh voice inside.

Eyebrow,

Always telling me I'm not enough.

Side of the eye,

Always finding fault.

Under the eye,

It's so heavy to keep carrying this judgment.

Under the nose,

I feel the weight of it so heavily.

On the chin point,

And it is hard to be kind to myself.

Collarbone,

This harsh voice that keeps criticizing me.

Under the arm,

This is so heavy to keep hearing this voice.

Then go back to the top of the head and we're going to start releasing some of this weight now.

So top of the head,

This absolute pressure to be perfect.

Eyebrow point,

It's just too much sometimes.

Side of the eye,

I can never meet my own impossible standards.

Under the eye,

And it's so hard to keep trying.

Under the nose,

Maybe I don't have to be so hard on myself.

Chin point,

Just maybe I can let some of this voice start to soften.

The collarbone,

I'd like to be open to that possibility.

Under the arm,

Maybe,

Just perhaps,

I can stop being so hard on myself.

And for a third round,

Let's return to the top of the head and now we're going to start inviting some kindness.

Top of the head,

I choose to speak more gently to myself.

Eyebrow point,

I don't have to be perfect to be enough.

Side of the eye,

I can support myself instead of criticizing myself.

Under the eye,

I'm a human just like everybody else and that's okay.

Under the nose,

I deserve compassion.

Just like everybody else.

Chin point,

I deserve my own kindness just like everybody else.

Collarbone,

I choose to soften this critical inner voice now.

Under the arm,

I choose to start speaking more kindly to myself.

Take one more lovely deep breath in and release it slowly.

Notice what you notice.

How do you feel?

What are your thoughts?

Maybe there's a little bit more lightness and a little bit softer inside.

You've just given yourself a small reset and a moment of compassion.

I invite you to carry this kindness with you into the rest of your day.

Thank you for tapping with me.
