Welcome to day 27 of our 30-day meditation challenge.
Today we'll be practicing welcoming all that arises.
I invite you to find that comfortable position,
Whether you're seated with your back straight.
Or lying down.
Where you're supported standing by leaning up against a wall.
Whatever posture will allow you to be alert and also at ease.
I invite you to allow the eyes to close softly.
Or if it feels more supportive,
Just keep them a quarter of the way open,
Gazing down towards the floor.
And let's take that slow,
Deep,
Intentional breath in through the nostrils.
And releasing,
Letting go.
Letting the body settle into stillness by really arriving.
Letting go of whatever happened earlier or whatever plans you have later.
And for this period of practice,
Just really allowing yourself.
To be open and at ease.
As much as possible.
Whatever appears in our practice.
Is welcome.
Not just allowed.
But.
.
.
With a sense of experience being an invited guest that you are welcoming in.
No matter whether this experience is pleasant,
Or unpleasant,
Or neutral.
We're simply practicing welcoming all that arises.
Knowing that you hold the capacity to simply remain present.
And it is.
With all of the changing conditions.
Welcoming this breath.
It's coming and it's going.
When experience arises,
Just welcoming it.
This,
Too.
Is welcome.
Thoughts.
Sounds.
Sensations.
Emotions and moods.
All allowed.
All welcomed.
Nothing to grasp.
Nothing to reject.
Resting in this welcoming,
Open space of the heart-mind.
Thank you for practicing with me on day 27 of our meditation challenge.
And I do hope that you'll join me again tomorrow.
Namaste.
