I am so glad that you're here.
This is a five-minute morning meditation designed to provide a little bit of motivation.
Find a comfortable seat or lie down and if it's okay,
Gently close your eyes.
Take a slow,
Deep breath in through the nose.
Hold for a moment at the top and then open your mouth and exhale fully,
Letting something go.
One more.
Breathe in,
Filling your lungs with fresh energy.
Hold at the top and then open the mouth and release any heaviness or tension as you breathe out.
With each breath,
Allow yourself to arrive in this new day,
Present,
Awake,
And open.
Allowing the breath to return to its normal rhythm,
Bring your attention there and notice the flow of the breath.
With each inhale,
Imagine that you're drawing in light,
Clarity,
And focus.
And with each exhale,
Let go of any stress,
Sleepiness,
Or distraction.
Reminding yourself,
As you breathe,
This is a new day.
Today is full of possibilities.
You get to begin again.
If it feels okay,
Place one hand over your heart and the other on your belly.
And notice how on the inhale,
The belly rises and then the chest rises.
And on the exhale,
The chest lowers and then the belly lowers.
And feel that breath rhythmically move through you,
Steady and alive.
And with that aliveness,
Repeat silently or out loud,
I am ready for the day.
Today I bring energy and positivity into all that I do.
I trust myself to handle whatever comes my way.
I choose focus,
Strength,
And joy.
Allow these words to sink in like seeds being planted in your mind and your heart.
Setting you up for the day ahead.
Take one more deep breath in.
Hold it at the top.
Open your mouth and let it go.
Notice how you're feeling right now.
Fully awake.
Fully aware.
Fully alive.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes.
Maybe rotate the ankles and wrists.
And when you're ready,
Open your eyes with a soft smile and step into your day,
Motivated,
Centered,
And energized.
