In this meditation,
I invite you to soften the way you relate to yourself.
To release the pressure to constantly prove your worth,
To earn love,
Or to become someone else before you are allowed to fully receive it.
For so many of us,
Love has felt conditional.
Something we had to work for.
Something we had to sacrifice ourselves for.
Something we feared losing the moment we truly opened our hearts.
And over time,
We can become disconnected from the simple truth that we are already worthy of love,
Exactly as we are.
So for the next moments,
Allow yourself to put down the harshness,
The self-judgment and the emotional armor you've been carrying.
Allow yourself to soften towards yourself,
To open to love,
To remember what it feels like to feel worthy of care,
Connection and support.
And to trust that as you begin to love yourself more deeply,
You also become more available to receiving love from others.
Let this be a moment of returning to yourself,
A moment of opening your heart.
Of remembering that love was never something you had to earn.
Let's begin!
I allow myself to soften.
I allow myself to receive the love that has always been available to me.
I release the habit of being hard on myself.
I release the voice inside of me that believes I always need to do more,
Be more,
Or prove more to be worthy of love.
I no longer need to earn love through perfection,
Performance,
Or pleasing.
I am worthy of love,
Simply because I exist.
I release the feeling that I am too much.
I allow myself to take up space exactly as I am.
I released the fear that if people truly knew me,
They would leave.
I release the fear of being rejected for being fully myself.
I no longer need to hide parts of myself in order to feel loved.
I no longer need to shrink myself to make others comfortable.
I speak to myself with kindness,
Compassion,
And understanding.
I release the habit of only focusing on what is wrong with me.
I choose to see myself through kinder eyes.
I am ready to stop criticizing myself when I need love the most.
I am ready to start supporting me.
I release the belief that love must be earned through suffering,
Sacrifice or self-neglect.
I am deserving of receiving love.
I allow myself to receive compliments without deflecting them.
I allow myself to receive care without feeling guilty.
I allow myself to receive support without feeling weak.
I release the instinct to push love away when it gets too close.
I no longer need to search for reasons why I am not enough.
I let my heart soften.
I let myself become available for connection.
I let myself believe that I am lovable exactly as I am.
I release the fear of disappointing others.
I release the pressure to constantly be who everyone else needs me to be.
My needs matter.
My feelings matter.
I matter.
I release the belief that self-love is selfish.
The more I love myself,
The safer I become within myself.
I allow love to reach me.
I allow warmth to reach me.
I allow connection to reach me.
I no longer need to keep my heart guarded at all times.
It is safe for me to let people in.
I release the fear that love will always end in pain.
I release the belief that I must stay emotionally distant to protect myself.
I allow myself to feel loved without expecting it to disappear.
I allow myself to trust the moments of connection that are here now.
I soften toward myself.
I soften toward others.
I soften toward life.
Beautiful.
I'm inviting you to stop speaking to yourself like someone who is difficult to love.
To stop measuring your worth through productivity,
Approval,
Or how much you do for others.
You don't need to become someone else to be deserving of love.
You don't need to fix every part of yourself before opening your heart.
Love was never something you had to earn.
It has always been right here.
Waiting for you to notice it and pick it up.
Thank you for practicing with me today.
