Affirmations Meditation To Shift Self-Belief

Put this on as you drift to sleep and let the affirmations gently settle into your subconscious as you rest. The meditation begins with a grounding body scan to ease you into a relaxed, receptive state. From there, you’ll hear a series of affirmations designed to shift limiting beliefs and support a more aligned self-concept. If you notice resistance—sensations in your body that say “No” or “That’s not true”—try adding “I’m willing to…” or “I’m willing to feel…” before the affirmation. This softens the impact and allows your system to open. Affirmations work best when the body can receive them. If we override resistance, we may reinforce the old story instead. Let this be a gentle, spacious practice you return to whenever it feels nourishing. Enjoy.

Hello,

And welcome to this affirmations meditation designed to help you invite in and align with a more positive way of experiencing yourself in the world.

As you hear each affirmation,

Allow it to enter you as a true statement.

Notice and feel how your body responds.

Sometimes you may experience resistance to a specific affirmation,

As if the body is saying,

No,

That isn't true.

If that happens,

Simply restate it in your mind or out loud with,

I am willing to,

Before the affirmation.

So,

I am full of love,

May become,

I am willing to be full of love.

The willingness opens space for the affirmation to be felt as true,

And thus it becomes more welcome in your being to shift in alignment with the affirmation.

In a moment,

I'll guide you through a short body scan to help you relax into a meditative state.

Then,

The affirmations will repeat numerous times for the duration of the meditation.

At the end,

I will close out the meditation and leave you in that state to slowly wake up on your own,

Or simply drift off to sleep.

Enjoy.

Please come into a comfortable position laying down where you feel fully supported.

Notice and acknowledge this support.

Could you do something for yourself to help you feel even 10% comfier?

Please give yourself that gift now.

Notice how that extra comfort is received by your body and being.

Exhale and notice your breath.

Take three deep inhales and exhales on your own at a pace that works best for you.

Remember that throughout this meditation,

Your mind may wander.

That is normal.

When you notice it has wandered,

Simply acknowledge it and return back to the breath and the sound of my voice.

Notice the inhale expand and the exhale release.

Inhale expand,

Exhale release.

We'll move our awareness from our head down to our feet,

Touching on different places where we feel the pressure of the support beneath us holding us up.

Bring your awareness to the back or side of your head,

Wherever you feel the support beneath you.

Notice the slight pressure holding you there.

Inhale,

Breathe into the pressure.

Exhale,

Release your neck muscles and allow your head to relax so the pressure becomes a little bit more sincere.

Swallow to cleanse your palate,

Let your jaw unclench and your tongue rest.

Let your awareness flow to the next place you feel a little pressure of the support beneath you holding you up,

Perhaps your neck or shoulders.

Inhale,

Breathe into the pressure.

Exhale,

Release any effort holding you up.

Let your body surrender its weight to be held by the support beneath you.

Relax,

Let go,

Surrender.

Bring your awareness to the next place where your body touches the support,

Somewhere along your back.

Notice that pressure.

Inhale there.

Exhale,

Release your weight.

Let yourself sink into the pressure slightly more.

Gently move your awareness to your right arm.

Notice where it meets the support beneath it.

Breathe in and out.

Let your arm release and your fingers slightly curl.

Now over to your left arm.

Notice the pressure where your arm is held.

Inhale and exhale its weight.

Allow your wrist and fingers to rest.

Now bring your attention to your pelvis and hips,

Where your upper body meets your lower body.

Notice the pressure and space where you are held and supported here.

Breathe.

Inhale into the pressure.

Exhale,

Release all your effort.

Allow your whole upper body to be supported and relaxed.

Inhale,

Peace.

Exhale,

Release.

Now on your own,

Let your awareness flow slowly down one leg,

Ending at the heel.

Notice three different places where you feel pressure supporting the leg.

Inhale into the pressure.

Exhale,

Release the weight of the leg.

Inhale.

Repeat again on the other leg.

Inhale into three different pressure points.

And exhale,

Surrender its weight.

Allow your awareness to flow out your feet.

And notice as much of yourself as you can,

Letting your awareness flow and feel your whole body here.

Inhale,

Expand.

Exhale,

Release,

Release,

Release.

Let your awareness settle naturally on your breath or somewhere on your body.

Reminding yourself to come back to the breath if you notice you begin to trail off into thought.

Listen to the words flow through you.

Breathe.

Feel.

Exhale,

Release.

I am allowed to feel good.
