Good morning and welcome to this morning's tapping session.
Before we begin,
Find a calm and quiet space where you can focus on yourself.
Take a moment to connect with your breath as we prepare for the day ahead.
Just as you're getting comfortable.
Take care.
Deep breath in through your nose gently.
And exhale it out through your mouth.
That's it,
Breathing in again,
Feeling your belly,
That's it and exhale letting the body soften.
And one more time breathing in gently but deeply.
And release fully with your exhale.
Now we'll begin round one.
Gently tapping on the side of your hand and repeat each phrase after me.
Even though I feel overwhelmed when I think about my day.
I accept myself and how I feel.
Even though I feel this tension in my body.
I deeply and completely honour where I am right now.
And even though the day ahead feels heavy.
I choose to allow moments of peace and possibility.
Take a breath in,
Gently release it as we continue along the points and repeat after me,
Starting at the eyebrow point.
Thinking about my day feels overwhelming.
Side of the eye.
There's so much I need to do.
Under the eye and so much pressure I put on myself.
Under the nose.
My body feels the weight of it all.
On the chin point.
The tension in my shoulders and my chest.
Collarbone,
All this pressure I've placed on myself.
Under the arm,
The belief that I need to do it all perfectly.
Top of the head,
All of these thoughts running through my head.
Now we'll directly start at the eyebrow point for round two.
The struggle I feel to do everything right.
Side of the eye,
The pressure I've been holding onto.
Under the eye,
It feels like it's weighing me down.
Under the nose.
I tell myself I should be further ahead.
On the chin point,
But it doesn't have to feel this hard.
Collarbone point.
These all beliefs that keep me stuck.
That's it,
Under the arm.
I'm ready to give them a voice.
Top of the head.
And gently start letting them go.
Well done and keep tapping at the eyebrow point as we follow through to round three.
I acknowledge the tension I've been holding onto.
Side of the eye.
I notice how hard I've been on myself.
Under the eye.
I give myself permission to pause and to breathe.
Under the nose.
I don't need to have all of the answers.
Chin point,
It's safe to release this pressure.
Collarbone.
I honour myself for showing up today.
Under the arm.
I give myself permission to relax into this moment.
Top of the head.
I'm open to feeling calm and grounded.
Gently stop tapping.
Take a deep breath in.
And a cleansing exhale.
And notice how your body feels.
If you feel the need to continue tapping repeat this sequence or focus on any thoughts or areas of tension that may still feel present for you.
You've taken an important step today by honoring your feelings and prioritizing yourself.
So when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Here's to a day filled with calm,
Clarity and care for yourself.
