Please find a comfortable position where your body can fully relax.
Close your eyes.
And take a slow breath in through your nose.
And exhale softly through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale deeply.
And release.
Bring your awareness to the area of your body that needs recovery.
There's no need to judge or analyze the sensation.
Just notice it.
Notice the shape of the muscle.
Did dat?
The temperature.
The feeling.
Now imagine a soft warm light appearing above you This light is gentle.
Healing.
And responsive to your needs.
It begins as a golden glow.
Like late afternoon sunlight.
With your next inhale,
Imagine this warm golden light slowly flowing down.
Into your body.
Moving directly towards the area that feels tight.
Soar or fatigue.
As the light reaches the muscle.
Feel a comforting warmth spreading through it.
Not too hot.
But just perfectly soothing.
Like a warm compress,
Placed exactly where it's needed.
See the muscle fibers softening under this form.
Tight strands,
Loosening.
Knots gently unraveling.
Any inflammation,
Cooling,
And settling.
Now,
As you breathe out,
Imagine any discomfort leaving the body as a darker,
Cooler mist.
It dissolves into the air and disappears.
With each inhale.
The golden light grows brighter and warmer.
Increasing circulation,
Bringing oxygen,
Nourishment,
And repair.
With each exhale,
Tension drains away.
Now gently shift the temperature of the light if it feels right.
If the area feels inflamed or hot.
Allow the golden light to gradually transform into a cool silvery blue light.
Feel a refreshing coolness washing over the muscle like a calm stream flowing through it.
Cooling any inflammation.
Reducing any swelling.
Quieting nerve signals.
Warmth to loosen.
Wholeness.
To calm.
Your body instinctively knows what balance it needs.
Spend a few breaths here.
Watching the muscle become smooth.
Relaxed.
And comfortable.
Seeing it restored.
Seeing it moving freely.
Seeing it strong and supported.
Now imagine the light.
Slowly sealing in this healing.
Like a protective glow that remains even after this meditation ends.
Take one final deep breath in.
And exhale fully.
Bringing your breath back.
To a regular pattern.
Gently bring your awareness back to your whole body.
And when you're ready.
