Welcome to this guided visualization meditation aimed to help release trauma blockages by using the healing power of Reiki.
Before we begin,
Please find a quiet space where you will not be disturbed.
Take a moment to get comfortable,
Whether this is sitting or lying down.
Adjusting your body to ensure that the back and the neck are straight and aligned,
Helping the energy flow easily.
Closing your eyes if you have not already,
And gently placing one hand on your belly and the other hand on your chest,
Bringing your attention to your breath.
With every inhale,
Visualize a warm,
White mist of purifying air,
And with every exhale,
Release any tension and stress.
Breathing in through the nose,
Feel the cleansing air travel deep into the diaphragm.
Hold your breath a little,
And out through the mouth,
Releasing any negativity and internal chatter.
Feeling the belly relax as you exhale.
Breathing in through the nose,
Feeling the stomach rise up,
Hold your breath,
And out through the mouth,
Feeling the body relax as you exhale.
Breathing in through the nose,
Full expansion into the belly,
And out through the mouth,
Feeling any tension around the eyes,
The head,
The jaw,
The neck,
The shoulders,
Unclenching,
Softening.
Now bring your breath back to a regular pattern.
I would like to invite you to bring your focus to your feet,
The connecting point to the earth energy.
Often when we experience trauma,
Our world may be shaken,
Causing doubt,
Indecisions,
And uncertainty.
Imagine golden roots growing from the base of your feet and out from your toes.
Allow the roots to plant firmly into the ground.
Observe attentively as the roots coil downwards,
Through the soil and into layers of rocks,
Anchoring you to the center of the earth,
Establishing stability.
Feel it giving you strength as you release any pressure and stiffness from the feet,
The ankles,
The calves,
The thighs.
Allow the earth to take the weight and feel the lower half of your body relax.
Now bringing your awareness to your crown chakra,
Positioned on top of your head,
Noticing the presence of a round sparkly white light shining from above.
You may already begin to feel a warmth,
A tingle from this light.
This light of Reiki.
Trauma experiences can often get stuck in our body,
Causing an imbalance.
Like a solid block of ice frozen in time,
Affecting the head,
The heart,
The stomach,
And even sleep.
Visualize blocks of solid ice around your body as a representation of the feeling of anxiety,
Fear,
Pain,
Sadness,
Shame that have been experienced.
In this moment,
Silently give permission to the universal life force energy of Reiki to assist with this healing.
Slowly and gently watch the illuminating orb grow above you.
Larger,
Brighter,
Warmer.
Observe the dazzling ball of light emit a gleaming white beam of healing light.
It is so bright and powerful,
Almost blinding.
Slowly,
The beam works its way down from above your head to the forehead,
The eyes,
Down the throat,
Down the shoulders.
Feel the tension melting away.
Feel the light penetrating through the chest and into the heart,
Releasing sorrow,
Sadness.
Observe the ice blocks change from solid to liquid as the warm light thaws the pain away.
Down the stomach,
Evaporating blockages of anxiety,
Fear,
With its warmth and tenderness.
The glowing sphere begins to slowly lower on your body,
Onto your skin.
And like a layer of soft silk,
It falls and wraps around your entire being in a comforting,
Loving embrace.
Like a boundless,
Unconditional love coming from source.
Stay here for a moment and engage with the nurturing protectiveness whilst it relieves any trauma.
As this meditation comes to completion,
Thank yourself for taking the time to heal today.
Say silently to yourself,
I am worthy.
I am strong.
I am loved.
