Welcome to today's guided visualization meditation practice.

This meditation is designed using Reiki to help you relax and drift off to sleep.

Wherever you are,

However you are arriving here tonight,

Know that this moment is just for you.

A time to come home to yourself,

To soften,

To let go and to receive.

Before we begin,

Take a moment to settle into your space.

For this meditation,

You can choose to lie down or recline.

You just need to ensure that your body is completely supported by the surface beneath you.

Feel the gentle weight of gravity inviting you to rest.

Let your eyes close gently,

If not already closed,

And just notice your breath just as it is.

There is no need to change it just yet.

Simply observe.

You are here right now,

In this moment,

And that is enough.

Now let's begin by guiding the breath with intention.

We want to gently activate Reiki energy with every breath that we take by visualizing a warm light as you inhale and a dim light as you exhale.

Take a deep breath,

Steady inhale through your nose,

And a slow gentle exhale through your mouth.

Take a deep breath,

Steady inhale through your mouth,

Again,

Inhale,

Feeling the air nourish your body,

And exhale,

Releasing the day,

The tension,

The noise.

Now imagine the soft,

Golden white light just above the crown of your head.

This is Reiki,

The universal life force energy that knows exactly where to go.

It carries only peace,

Only love,

And only truth.

On your next inhale,

Visualize this Reiki light gently entering the top of your head.

And on your exhale,

Feel it begin to pour through your body like warm sunlight melting through every muscle,

Every cell.

Let it be slow,

And let it be soft.

As you breathe,

Bring your awareness to your third eye chakra.

This is the space between your eyebrows.

Allow this area to soften.

Now feel your jaw release,

Your tongue resting gently in your mouth.

Let your shoulders melt away from your ears,

And feel Reiki energy pour down your arms,

All the way to your fingertips.

Rest here,

And really feel into the warmth of the Reiki energy as it works around your body.

Now gently bring your awareness to your chest.

Feel the gentle rise and fall of your breath.

With each inhale,

Reiki continues to flow into your heart,

Filling it with soft,

Calm,

Safety.

Feeling your belly expand and contract naturally.

Reiki energy surrounds your belly,

Soothing away any knots or tension.

Allow yourself to surrender here,

Fully supported,

Fully held.

Let this healing energy move down through your hips,

Your legs,

And finally to your feet.

Visualize your entire being blowing as your entire body is now wrapped in Reiki light,

Made in calm,

Cradle in peace.

You are safe here.

There is nowhere else you need to be.

The Reiki energy now begins to form a gentle cocoon around your body.

Like so,

Silk,

It holds you,

It protects you,

And it guides you into deep,

Effortless rest.

With each breath,

You float a little deeper into stillness.

Thoughts become lighter.

Muscles soften completely,

And you begin to drip.

The space around you is quiet,

Sacred,

A place of deep inner peace.

Let yourself stay here as long as you need.

There is nothing to fix,

Nothing to change.

You are enough,

Exactly as you are.

Resting in comfort of Reiki,

And held by the breaths,

And returned softly to yourself.

I will leave you here now to rest in silence.

And when you're away,

You will feel completely refreshed.

Refreshed.
