Begin by finding a comfortable position,
Either seated or lying down.
Ensure your back is straight and your shoulders back and down.
Let your hands rest gently,
Palm facing up,
In open position to receive.
Gently close your eyes.
There is no need to overthink your posture.
Take a moment to ensure that you are comfortable and arrive.
We're going to take a couple of cleansing breaths to center ourselves into the room.
Taking a deep breath in through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth.
Inhale,
Feel your belly rise and exhale,
Letting your shoulders soften.
Inhale,
Draw in the calm.
Exhale,
Release any tension.
One more.
Inhale,
Peace.
And exhale the weight that you are carrying.
Let it go.
Allow your breath to settle into a natural rhythm,
Like gentle waves rolling in and out.
With every breath,
Feel yourself becoming more present,
More relaxed.
Gently bringing your awareness to the top of your head,
Where the crown chakra is positioned.
Imagine a soft,
Golden,
White light beginning to form just above your crown.
This is Reiki energy,
The pure,
Universal life force energy.
Stay here and absorb its loving,
Intelligent healing properties.
You may start to see the top of your head glow.
Breathe in and breathe out.
With each breath in,
Feel the healing light glowing brighter above you.
And with each breath out,
Feel it washing over your body.
As you rest here,
Trust the energy knows exactly where to go to heal where your body needs it most.
There is no need for you to guide it.
Just rest here and receive the activated healing energy through your skin,
Your muscles,
Your bones,
And down to every cell in your body.
You may feel a warmth,
A tingle,
Or a visual glow around your body as it starts to work on you.
Slowly,
This healing light glows down your forehead and eyes,
Softening your frown and releasing any tension.
Let the space between your brows widen.
Feel your eyes rest deeper into their socket.
Feeling your jaw and throat unclenched,
If you want,
You can open your mouth a little to allow the throat to relax.
Feel any stuck words or stress melt away.
Back and down your shoulders,
Feeling the heaviness dissolve as Reiki energy pours in.
If there are any burden that you've been carrying,
Let them drop here.
And bring your awareness back to your breath.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Observe as the Reiki light gently travels down your arms,
Elbows,
Wrists,
Filling the palms and fingers with this healing warmth.
If you wish,
You can rest your hands gently over your heart to share the energy with yourself,
A gentle gesture of self-love and compassion.
Feel this warm presence moving further into your chest and your heart.
Breathe into this space.
Inhale love.
Exhale any heartache and heaviness.
Traveling slowly down the stomach to the solar plexus chakra,
Helping to release tension from the core of your being.
Feel your power returning steadily and calmly.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Gently traveling down to the hips and pelvis.
Allow the Reiki light to soak into these areas,
Offering you safety and supportiveness.
Feel the weight in these areas dissolve and any tension stored here melt away into the light.
Down to the thighs and knees.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Feel the area softening.
Relaxing the muscles around the thighs and the areas around the knee joints.
Feel the light travel down to the calves and ankles,
Into the feet and toes.
Grounding you with the healing energy.
