This is a meditation to meet your inner guide.
Lie down and allow your hands to rest softly.
If it feels comfortable gently close your eyes.
Take a slow breath in through your nose and exhale fully.
Again,
Breathe in deeply and let the breath fall away naturally.
With each breath give yourself permission to arrive fully in this moment.
There is nowhere else you need to be,
Nothing else you need to do.
Just this breath,
Just this moment.
Now bring your awareness to the top of your head.
Notice any tension you may be holding here.
Invite softness into your forehead,
Your jaw,
Your neck.
Allow your shoulders to relax.
Feel your chest rise and fall naturally.
Soften your stomach.
Relax your hips,
Your legs,
Your feet.
Feel the support beneath you.
You are safe,
You are supported,
You can let go.
Now imagine yourself standing at the beginning of a peaceful path.
Notice the ground beneath your feet.
Perhaps it is soft earth,
Smooth stone.
Warm sand or forest.
Take a moment to notice the atmosphere around you.
The light,
The temperature,
The sounds,
The feeling in the air.
As you begin walking along this path,
Each step carries you deeper into calm,
Deeper into stillness and deeper into your inner world.
With every step the noise of the outside world fades further away.
Ahead of you,
You notice a beautiful place beginning to appear.
It may be a garden,
Maybe a forest clearing,
A mountain,
A quiet beach or somewhere entirely unique.
This is a place created by your inner wisdom,
A place where your inner guide can meet you.
As you enter this sacred place,
Take a moment to look around.
Notice the colors,
The textures,
The energy.
Feel the atmosphere of peace and quiet intelligence.
Somewhere in this place,
Your inner guide is waiting.
You may see a person,
You may sense an animal,
You may notice light,
Energy or simply a presence.
There is no right or wrong way for your guide to appear.
Trust whatever comes naturally.
Allow your guide to approach you.
Notice how they make you feel.
You are being understood.
This guide represents deep wisdom within you,
The part of you that sees clearly,
The part of you that remembers who you truly are.
Take a moment now to silently greet your guide.
And ask if you wish,
What do I most need to know right now?
Stay here for a few moments.
Allow any words,
Feelings,
Images,
Memories or sensations to arise naturally.
Do not force anything,
Simply receive.
You may also ask another question.
Perhaps,
What am I ready to let go of?
Or,
What wants to grow within me?
Take your time.
Trust whatever emerges.
Now,
Imagine your guide offering you a gift.
It may be an object,
A symbol,
A cola or simply a feeling.
Receive this gift with openness.
Know that it contains wisdom,
Support or healing meant specifically for you.
Take a moment to understand what this gift means.
Feel its energy settling gently into your heart.
Your guide wants you to remember,
You already carry wisdom within you.
You already have inner knowing.
You are more connected,
Capable and whole than you sometimes realize.
Allow these words to sink in deeply into your being.
Now,
It is almost time to return.
Thank your guide for meeting you today.
Know that you can return to this place whenever you wish.
Your inner guide is always available to you.
Now,
Begin walking back to the path.
With each step,
Gently returning to awareness of your body.
Feeling the surface beneath you.
Noticing your breath.
Bringing back with you any clarity,
Peace or wisdom you received.
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
And when you are ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Now,
Before we close,
Take a moment before you may wish to journal about what your guide looked or felt like.
Any messages you received.
The gift or symbol you were given.
Emotions or insights that arose.
Or any steps your intuition is encouraging.
Trust that even subtle experiences can carry deep meaning.
The more you listen to your inner guidance,
The clearer it becomes.
