And welcome to this meditation.
Find a position that allows you to deeply relax,
Whether that's seated or lying down.
And once you're situated,
Feel free to close your eyes or gently lower your gaze.

You've made it to this moment,
An opportunity to be lovingly with yourself,
An opportunity to listen to your inner voice,
A chance to hear yourself think.
Welcome yourself with a deep breath in and exhale.
Another breath in and release.
I invite you to do a quick body scan.
Notice any areas of your body that may feel tense or any stagnant energy that may need to be released.
Simply shake out those areas of your body.
Get out any last-minute wiggles.
And once you're ready,
Find stillness and ease.
I invite you to ask yourself a few questions.
We'll ask the questions and then we'll sit in silence,
Listening for the answer that's deep inside.
What do I need to hear today?
How can I be kind to myself today?
What am I proud of?
How can I show myself love?
What can you do for yourself today that will allow you to go to sleep feeling proud?
Is there something that you need to forgive yourself for?
What is the one thing you hope to accomplish today?
Deep breath in and exhale.
I invite you to take your arms out wide to the side and wrap them around yourself,
Giving yourself a nice big hug.
It is not easy to take the time to really hear your inner voice.
But the more time you spend in this space,
The easier it is to understand some of your big emotions,
To understand what it is you want out of each day and anything that may be holding you back.
I am proud of you for showing up and for doing the hard work.
One more deep breath in and release.
I encourage you to take the time to journal some of your responses once you leave this meditation.
Do this meditation on a monthly basis to see if your answers change and to watch yourself grow.
When you're ready,
Start wiggling your fingers and your toes,
Noticing the noises in the room around you.
Slowly open your eyes.
Enjoy the rest of your day.
