Listening will become our meditation practice.
You don't need complete silence for this practice.
In fact,
Every sound you hear can become part of your meditation.
Now,
Allow sounds to come to you naturally.
There is nothing to search for.
Simply listen.
Perhaps you notice sounds that are very close.
Or sounds farther away.
There is no need to label them or judge them.
Simply notice how each sound appears.
Lingers for a moment and then fades away.
If your mind gets caught in thoughts,
Gently come back to listening.
Spend a little more time simply listening to the world around you.
Take a calm breath in.
And breathe out.
Sometimes,
Just a few moments of listening with awareness are enough to bring a sense of calm and presence.
