Today we will explore how meditation can become part of everyday life.
If you have a cup of tea or any warm drink nearby,
Gently hold it in your hands.
If not,
Simply imagine the experience.
Feel the warmth of the cup.
It's weight.
The texture beneath your fingers.
Take a moment to look at your drink.
Notice its color.
Breathe in its aroma.
Now,
Take one small sip.
Note the taste.
The temperature.
How it feels in your mouth.
If thoughts arise,
Gently return to the experience of this moment.
Take another slow sip.
And spend a few more moments simply being here.
Meditation is not only something we do with our eyes closed.
It can become part of the ordinary moments of everyday life.
Sometimes,
One mindful sip of tea is enough to slow down and reconnect with the present moment.
