We will use the body as our object of attention.
There is nothing to change.
Simply notice what is already here.
Now feel the places where your body meets the chair,
The floor or your cushion.
Notice the weight of your body.
Feel the temperature of the air on your skin.
The herbs,
You noted the gentle pressure of your clothing.
Or the subtle movement of the air around you.
There is no need to search for special sensations.
Whatever you notice is enough.
If your attention drifts away,
That's perfectly okay.
Simply come back to the sensations of your body.
Just there,
Right now.
Spend a few more moments resting with these sensations.
Now take an easy breath in.
And a slow breath out.
During your day,
You might occasionally ask yourself one simple question.
What is my body feeling right now?
Even a few seconds of awareness can help you reconnect with the present moment.
