Let's begin this day in gratitude.
Whether you are sitting up or lying down,
Maybe even still in bed,
Take a nice big satisfying stretch.
Notice how it feels in your body.
And listening to the cues of your body as to how far deep or gentle of a stretch you need.
Roll out your shoulders.
Taking big circles.
And then reversing shaking your head yes and know.
Slowly,
Gently,
Being present with each sensation.
If you are lying down consider sitting up And now let's rest your hands on your legs.
Feeling grateful for this time that you have made and prioritized for your well-being.
Grateful for listening to your body and knowing what it needed as you stretched and moved Most of us,
If we take a moment,
Have so much to be grateful for.
And even in the hard times,
There is always something to have gratitude for.
A cozy bed Stay home.
Someone who loves us.
Food to nourish.
Or even your next breath.
And on your next inhale,
Invite in a feeling of gratitude.
Feel it move through your body.
And as you exhale,
Simply smile.
Again inhale a feeling of gratitude and exhale smiling.
Feeling thankful for this new day.
Bringing opportunity,
Possibilities,
Time to create,
To become,
To experience,
To work,
Or simply just to be.
And feeling grateful for your body that allows you to do one or more of these things As you go through the rest of your day,
Notice and take a moment in gratitude for the simple pleasures in life.
Birds singing.
The breeze the smell of delicious food or your favorite flower.
A hug.
The company of a loved one.
And we will close with a simple thank you.
