As you tune in and notice who you are in this moment,
Then notice your breath.
The quality of your breaths.
The way your lungs move or don't when you breathe.
And then bring your attention to your heart.
And feel the vibration of your heart in your body.
And then if your heart had an emotion this morning,
What would it be in this moment?
It's the feeling in your heart.
And take a seat in your heart.
And remember that there are four chambers,
We call them,
Of your heart.
And maybe they're connected to the elements in this moment.
What's happening with the waters of your body?
And then as you exhale,
The air,
The winds of your body.
And you breathe in your next comfortable inhale.
And you feel the earth elements of your body and your heart.
And then on your next comfortable exhale,
Whenever that is,
You stoke the fire of your body by focusing on the exhale.
And what's the feeling in your heart now?
And where are you in relationship to your own heart?
And then breathe in again.
And exhale down into the earth.
And then move your attention to your belly and your breath.
And what if your breath comes in through your heart,
But expands and expands?
Your belly with each inhale.
And each exhale,
You draw your belly button in and up.
And you draw in the power of the energy in front of your belly button.
Your hara,
Your cusco,
That belly,
Breath,
Center.
Exhale,
Exhale,
Exhale,
Squeeze.
So that the squeezing of your belly in and up says good morning to your diaphragm.
Imagine that.
Imagine you give your heart a hug from the ground beneath you.
And in the relaxation of your belly,
It allows air to come in.
And then squeezing the belly in again.
Drawing in energy from this belly button,
Hara,
Cusco.
And relaxing your belly,
Which allows air to come in,
Rushing in.
And do that one more time at your own rhythm.
Inhaling,
Expanding the belly fully.
And then relax and tune to your heart again.
And what's the feeling in your heart now?
On your next comfortable inhale,
All your attention on your heart.
And exhale and walk out the front door of your heart.
Out into a field.
The field.
Feel the sun on your face.
And the whisper wind kiss on your cheek.
Good morning,
Good morning,
Good morning.
Feel that energy.
And we go out into a meadow,
A garden,
For a sacred gathering of birds,
Winged ones.
Everyone is there,
Especially our giant winged friends that we call carrion birds.
The hawk,
The owl,
The kestrel,
The falcon,
The eagle,
The condor.
And condor was there to brag,
As they are known to do.
Bragging to the other birds that he had taken great flight,
The longest and highest and farthest ever.
He had come to the very gates of the upper world in his flight.
And at that moment,
Hummingbird arrived to the gathering of birds.
That is true,
Brother condor.
But I have flown beyond the gates to the very throne of God in the center of the Hanukpacha of the upper world.
With the other birds as witnesses,
The condor and the hummingbird made a bet.
There you are,
Witnessing this whole story unfold in the field.
They wondered and claimed each that they could fly to the center of the upper world.
More birds gather to witness this sacred journey.
You are in awe of the sound of the wings and the humming flutters of all the different birdsong quietly anticipating this takeoff.
A few more birds land as the hummingbird and the condor get ready in the meadow to go.
But people look a little more closely and they hear the hum of the hummingbird,
But the hummingbird is not around and you look as well.
You're looking,
You can hear the hummingbird in the distance,
But the condor is ready to go and it is the agreed upon departure.
The birds are getting restless and require the timing and the condor must go on the flight because an agreement is an agreement.
And spirit has called and the flight is to happen.
So the condor in all of his braggy nature knows to keep the agreement and raises his great wings and makes a magnificent flight,
Stopping to rest only at the border of the Hanukpacha,
At the gateway,
At the threshold.
And at that very moment,
The hummingbird springs out of the collar of the condor's throat from his hiding place in the feathers and flies to the very gate of the Hanukpacha.
And all the birds,
A flutter and a laugh and in a beautiful murmuration they leave the field,
Lifting off in all directions flocks of birds.
And you are the witness to the strength of the condor,
The gift of the great power of clearing that the condor offers.
A death eater in so many ways,
This great and beautiful strength of this vulture,
And the joy and the sweetness and the intelligence of the hummingbird,
Strong in their own way.
The ability of the hummingbird to take you to the heart of spirit.
And into your own heart of stillness.
You feel the nectar and the sweetness in your own beating heart that attracts this hummingbird energy.
To come and drink in the field,
In your blooming heart.
You stand a little taller,
You thank the birds for this beautiful celebration of flight,
Of journey.
And perhaps feel the power of hummingbird in front of you,
In the front of your heart,
An eagle condor at the back.
The sweetness and the strength.
You hear the gentle whisper of the wind.
You feel the kiss of the wind on your cheek,
The warmth of the sun on your face.
And on your next comfortable inhale,
You walk in the front door of your heart.
And as you take a seat in your heart,
You ask again,
You witness,
You tune into that sacred heart of yours.
How is this heart feeling now?
What is the sensation,
The knowing,
The emotion?
The spaciousness?
What is your heart's wisdom and vision now?
If it's available to you to rub your hands together till they're warm and put one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly,
Listen from the outside in.
Who are you this morning or in this moment?
Where do your strength and your sweetness lie?
Let it bubble up from the depths of you.
Rub your hands together one more time and switch them,
Whichever was on your heart,
Now on your belly.
Last time without rubbing,
Inhale,
Reach for the heart.
Reach your arms,
Your wings,
The wings of your heart wide.
Big breath in.
On the exhale,
Draw that left and right hand together in front of your heart.
And bow in gratitude to yourself with a little whispers.
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you,
Me.
Thank you for showing up.
Thank you for giving me,
Yourself,
The gift of this practice.
Thank you,
Thank you,
Thank you.
