The very least you can do in your life is figure out what you hope for,
And the most you can do is live inside that hope.
Not admire it from a distance,
But live right in it,
Under its roof.
Hello,
Welcome to Jonergy Healing.
That quote is from Barbara Kingsolver,
From her book titled Animal Dreams.
Last October,
I decided to have my human design chart done after noticing numerous synchronicities nudging me to explore it.
I was pleasantly surprised by how many aspects of the chart resonated with my true self,
Affirming the way I've always felt,
Behaved,
And approached life.
One revelation that stood out was discovering that my core motivation is hope.
Throughout my life,
I've often lived on hope,
Especially when my thoughts began spiraling out of control over a new obsession,
And once I caught myself in these spirals,
I would always reach for hope.
It not only helped me shift my thoughts in the moment,
But also motivated me to seek change in my current circumstances.
Hope has always been a guiding light for me.
Feeling reassured by this realization,
I was inspired to create a meditation focused on hope,
Believing it could be beneficial to others as well.
I encourage you too,
When your thoughts begin to spiral and pull you away from the present moment,
To reach for hope.
So,
Let's get started.
Settle in to a comfortable position,
Allowing your body to be fully supported by the surface beneath you.
And close your eyes.
Let's start with some breath work.
With each breath,
Feel your body becoming more relaxed and your mind more at ease.
Take a deep breath into your head,
Into your brain.
Big exhale.
A deep breath into your chest,
Into your heart space.
Big exhale.
Deep breath into your belly.
Big exhale.
And a deep breath into your pelvis.
And a deep breath into your pelvis,
Into your hips.
Big exhale.
Exhale all the way down your legs,
Through the bottom of your feet to ground yourself into Mother Earth by using your Earth Star Chakra that sits below your feet,
About a foot,
Foot and a half.
Also,
Visualize or otherwise imagine the grounding cord from your Root Chakra also going into Mother Earth.
And turn your attention inward.
Establish the witness.
And find that space of neutrality within.
Relax your shoulders.
Relax your neck.
Relax your jaw.
Relax your face muscles.
And relax your head.
As you settle into this moment,
Bring your focus back to the center of your body.
Focus to the concept of hope.
Hope is more than a fleeting feeling.
It is a resilient state of being,
An unwavering light that guides us through life's challenges.
Hope is the belief that something good can happen even when circumstances are difficult.
So now,
Visualize a small glowing light in the center of your chest.
This light represents hope.
See it as a warm golden orb pulsing gently with your breath.
And sense into how this glowing light feels in your body.
Does it feel warm?
Does it feel good?
Or maybe it's uncomfortable.
Just allow whatever you're feeling the space for that to show up.
And with each inhale,
Imagine this light growing brighter and stronger.
And with each exhale,
Feel it spreading warmth throughout your entire body.
And now,
Reflect on the nature of hope.
Hope is what keeps us moving forward,
Even when the path is uncertain.
It is the quiet confidence that the future holds promise and that we are capable of overcoming obstacles.
Hope is the seed from which resilience grows,
Enabling us to face adversity with courage and grace.
Now,
Think about a time in your life when you felt hopeless.
Recall the heaviness,
The sense of being stuck in darkness.
Now,
Bring to mind the moment when hope began to fade.
Now,
Bring to mind the moment when hope began to return.
Maybe it was through the words of a friend,
The support of a loved one,
Or a newfound perspective that brought light into your life.
Notice how hope,
No matter how small,
Has the power to transform and uplift.
Now,
Shift your focus to your present life.
Identify an area where you need hope.
It might be a personal challenge,
A goal you are striving to achieve,
Or a dream you hold close to your heart.
Envision hope as a healing light,
Wrapping around this area,
Infusing it with positivity and strength.
Trust that this light will guide you,
Illuminating your path and providing clarity.
Recognize that hope is not just a passive feeling,
But an active force of energy.
It inspires you to take steps toward your aspirations,
No matter how small or incremental.
It empowers you to believe in your potential for growth and change.
It empowers you to believe in your potential for growth and change,
Even when the journey seems daunting.
And now consider the actions you can take to nurture hope in your life.
It might be practicing gratitude,
A walk in nature,
Surrounding yourself with supportive people,
Or setting small,
Achievable goals that lead you toward your larger dreams.
Each action,
No matter how minor,
Is a step towards manifesting hope in your life.
And as you continue to breathe deeply,
Feel the light of hope.
Hope within you expanding.
Allow it to fill your entire being,
Radiating outwards into the space around you.
Know that this light is always present,
Ready to support and inspire you whenever you need it.
And as we get ready to close our session today,
Here are a few affirmations of hope.
Feel free to say them out loud with me or quietly in your mind.
Every day is a new opportunity for hope and growth.
Hope fills my heart and soul,
Giving me strength.
Hope empowers me to take bold and positive actions.
Now,
When you are ready,
Take a few more deep breaths and gently open your eyes and come back.
And as we bring this meditation to a close,
I invite you to carry the heart of your heart with you throughout your day.
Remember,
That hope is always within you,
Ready to uplift and guide you in any situation.
I'll leave you with a quote by Barack Obama.
Hope is that thing that lives inside us that insists,
Despite all the evidence to the contrary,
That something better awaits us if we have the courage to reach for it and to work for it and to fight for it.
Thank you so much for joining me in this practice today.
I'm grateful for your presence and the time you've taken to nurture your inner light.
May your day be filled with peace,
Positivity,
And the unwavering belief in the good things yet to come.
And when you have time,
Please give a listen to my Affirmations of Hope track.
Reciting and using affirmations as journal prompts are a great way to stimulate your throat chakra,
Which is all about expression.
Have a beautiful day,
And I look forward to sharing more moments of connection and healing with you soon.
Namaste.
