Welcome,

I'm Jocelyn.

This is a rotation of consciousness,

A way to bring relaxation,

To bring awareness,

To bring a deep rest to your body.

In this rotation of consciousness,

As we move through it,

I want to try something different.

So before we even start,

Might you just close your eyes for a minute and allow your body to find a moment in your life where you felt truly good,

Where you felt confidence,

Where you felt your knowing,

Where you felt really just awesome.

And this is going to vary between each of you.

To give you an example,

When I think about a time when I felt really good,

It was a really simple moment,

But that moment is with me any time I'm looking for something in my life that felt so secure and good.

I was just picking up glasses for my daughter,

And on the way there I had gotten a latte or a cappuccino,

I don't even know what I bought.

And it was springtime,

And I was walking to the optometrist,

And there was something about the day.

I saw all the pink blossoms on the street.

There was this beautiful,

Cool breeze blowing past me.

I felt my chest open.

I felt my heart open.

I felt the strength of my body.

And I felt invincible in that moment.

So it can be a simple moment,

Or it can be a complicated moment in the sense of holding your child for the first time.

There's so many things that go on when you hold your child for the first time.

But they may all come together to meet at that place of,

Yes,

Goodness,

Confidence,

Strength,

Love.

So just closing your eyes and imagining that time for you,

Even if it's a fleeting moment,

Like I just described,

Or a real marker in your life.

Just one time when you felt so yourself,

So beautifully there,

And you felt your strength,

You felt your power,

You felt present in the moment.

So go ahead and just scan your memories or allow a time in your life to simply pop up.

And with that time,

Begin to breathe into it.

Just inhale into the memory.

And exhale out of the memory.

Allow that memory to be given life with your breath.

It may bring a smile to your lips.

Just allowing that memory to be breathed in,

Expanded,

Lived again,

And exhale back to the beginning.

And every time you inhale,

Play it again.

And I want you to notice a sensation in your body.

When I go back to that moment for myself,

It's the wind in my hair.

I could probably pick five different sensations,

From the warmth on my skin,

To what my eyes were seeing on the trees,

To,

I'm not sure if I had something really amazing happen right before,

But everything seemed to fall into place in that moment.

Allow a sensation to be brought to the surface that really connects with that memory.

For me,

It really is that wind in my hair on a sunny,

Clear sky day.

And it wasn't too hot.

I can remember I had sleeves on.

I had a sweatshirt or a sweater on.

I felt so good.

Nothing was going to stop me.

I felt fully me.

So just living and breathing into your memory,

That piece of your life that brought you that feeling.

And it doesn't matter if it was when you were seven years old,

When you were three years old,

When you were 20 years old,

Or 70.

You're looking for that feeling.

And then we're breathing into it,

Finding the sensation that calls to you from that memory.

And that sensation is what you're going to use in this rotation of consciousness.

So just keeping that in the back of your mind.

That whatever that sensation was that you felt in that moment of being purely you,

You're going to use that sensation with your awareness as we move around the body.

So let's just start again now that we have that covered.

Wherever you are,

Find yourself in a place of effortlessness as much as you can.

Allow your eyes to close.

Allow your body to be held.

Inviting your body parts to lean into the support beneath them.

Allowing your body to feel what it feels like to be held instead of holding up.

You might want to put pillows under your knees or your ankles or your head.

Whatever your body is calling for.

You might even notice that a body part wants to wiggle out a little or wants to change position.

Go ahead and allow it.

Listen to your body.

Allow this time to be effortless in whatever way it's calling for.

Inviting your awareness inward.

Allowing your awareness to take up space in your skin.

To be curious about all the corners and crevices of your body from the inside.

All the tight places.

The dark places.

And all of the open,

Wide open,

Spacious places in your body.

Allowing your awareness to be brought wherever your body is bringing it.

It might be the space between your toes.

It might be the small of your back.

Or it might be your forehead.

Just allowing your awareness to move across your body from the inside.

Filling in all the spaces that are calling with awareness.

Inviting your inner ears to open.

To all the sound vibrations around you.

In this recording,

In your room,

In your space,

Outside,

In your body.

Open to all the vibrations of sound that reach you.

Inviting your awareness to the muscle of the mind.

Inviting that muscle of the mind to gently unfurl.

To open.

Like the petals of a flower in the morning sun.

And allowing your awareness to gently scan down the back.

Down the spine,

Down each vertebrae,

Down each hill and valley.

Through the spaces.

Down through all the knobs of the spine.

Allowing your awareness to travel to your hips.

Inviting them to rest back and down.

Take a break.

You do a lot.

Thank you for that.

I'm going to walk you on a rotation of consciousness.

All you have to do is listen to my voice.

And imagine.

I'm going to guide your awareness across your body.

Like a road map.

And each place we stop,

Like a rest stop.

Like an overlook.

You're going to allow your awareness to rest.

And just imagine.

That sensation.

That you brought into your awareness before we started.

That sensation from a memory.

When you felt purely you.

Powerful and strong.

Invincible,

Loving,

Clear,

Happy.

Whatever words work for you.

When we stop at each overlook.

Allowing your awareness to rest there.

And imagining the sensation across that part of your body.

We'll begin with the back of the head.

The back of the head.

Imagining that sensation.

That's purely your own.

Across the back of the head.

The nape of the neck.

Imagining that sensation.

That is all yours.

The jawline.

The tip of the chin.

Both lips.

The roof of the mouth.

The inside of the right cheek.

Imagining that sensation.

That is all yours.

The inside of the left cheek.

And the tip of the tongue.

Imagining that sensation.

Imagining that sensation across all of your taste buds.

And the tip of the nose.

The right nostril.

And left nostril.

Your awareness at the overlook.

Of your nasal cavities.

Imagining the sensation.

That is all yours.

The right cheekbone.

Right temple.

Right eyebrow.

And all of the right eye.

Bathed in the sensation.

When you felt truly.

Purely you.

The eyelid.

And eyelashes.

A globe of the eye.

And the eye socket.

Just imagining the sensation.

That is all yours.

Across all the little muscles.

And sinews.

Behind the right eye.

And the left eye.

All the little muscles.

Behind the left eye.

Bathed in this sensation.

The eye socket.

And globe of the eye.

The eyelashes.

And eyelid.

Awash in the sensation.

That is all yours.

Around the eyebrow.

And the temple.

And the left cheekbone.

Allowing your awareness.

To stop at the ear.

Take a rest here.

Imagining the sensation.

That is all yours across the left ear.

The folds of the ear.

The hills and valleys of the ear.

The lobe of the ear.

And the ear canal.

And the inner ear.

Your awareness.

Resting at the space between the ears.

Imagining.

This sensation.

Truly you.

And the right inner ear.

Here.

Just imagining.

This sensation across the whole right ear.

The folds of the ear.

The lobe of the ear.

The hills and valleys of the ear.

And the ear canal.

Awash with this sensation.

And the center of the forehead.

The mind's eye.

Your awareness.

Like at a rest stop.

Taking in the mind's eye.

Just imagining this sensation.

Truly,

Purely you.

And the top of the head.

The center of the throat.

Imagining this sensation across all of the throat.

And the heart space.

All of the heart awash.

With this sensation of purely you.

The front of the heart.

Back of the heart.

Both sides of the heart.

Basking in this sensation.

The right shoulder.

Upper arm.

Palm of the hand.

The tip of the thumb.

First finger.

Second finger.

Third finger.

And fourth finger.

Allowing your awareness to overlook the whole right arm.

Just imagining it basking in that sensation.

Purely you.

Your left shoulder.

Upper arm.

The palm of your left hand.

And the tip of the left thumb.

The tip of the thumb.

Tip of the first finger.

Second finger.

Third finger.

And fourth finger.

Your awareness overlooking the whole left arm.

Just imagining that sensation across the whole arm.

That is all yours.

Back to the heart space.

The center of the chest.

Your awareness overlooking the center of the chest.

Imagining that sensation.

Truly and purely you.

The ribs.

The belly.

Imagining that sensation across the whole belly.

Navel center.

And the lower belly.

And the pelvis.

The pelvic bowl.

Your awareness overlooking the pelvis.

The pelvic bowl.

Imagining that sensation.

That is all yours.

The right hip.

And hip crease.

The whole thigh.

Imagining that sensation.

Half.

And shin.

Ankle.

Bottom of the right foot.

The tip of the big toe.

Second toe.

Third toe.

Fourth toe.

And fifth toe.

Your awareness overlooking the whole right leg.

Imagining that sensation.

That is all yours across the whole right leg.

Purely you.

And the left hip.

And hip crease.

The whole of the left thigh.

Half and shin.

Ankle.

The bottom of the left foot.

The tip of the left big toe.

Second toe.

Third toe.

Fourth toe.

And fifth toe.

Your awareness overlooking the whole left leg.

Imagining that sensation.

That is all yours.

Of being purely you.

Truly you across the whole left leg.

The whole back side of the body.

Your awareness overlooking the whole back side of the body.

Basking in that sensation.

And the whole front side of your body.

Basking in that sensation that is all yours.

And the whole body.

The whole body.

Steeped in this sensation.

Of being purely you.

Truly you.

Unstoppably you.

As your awareness takes in.

The whole body.

Invite your awareness now.

To your breath.

Just noticing your breath.

Noticing the pathways of breath through your body.

Noticing the depths of your breath.

Noticing the temperature of your breath.

Noticing how each inhale gives birth to an exhale.

And each exhale makes room for the next inhale.

This beautiful dance between filling up and emptying out.

We're going to just take a few deep breaths to come back to the body.

Inhaling through your nose.

Opening your mouth and sighing out.

Inhaling,

Filling up all of the body.

With oxygen feeding your cells.

Opening up your mouth and sighing it out.

Giving back.

Emptying out.

And one last time,

Inhaling through your nose.

Opening up your mouth and sighing out.

And bringing sound to this sigh if that feels good to you.

Take a minute to notice the shape of your body in space right now.

Any curves or angles.

Notice the density of your body.

Notice the spaces.

And just begin to bring a little bit of movement to that body of yours.

You might want to wiggle your fingers or your toes.

You might want to stretch.

To roll the body part around.

Waking up your body from this beautiful rest.

This beautiful rest steeped in the sensations of being truly you,

My friends.

And when you're ready,

You can bring a hand to your heart or your belly.

Offering a bit of gratitude to yourself.

Thank you so much for joining me on this rotation of consciousness today.

Thanks Jocelyn, love trying something new! There wasn't really a particular sensation related to my feeling, only the sensation of the feeling itself. So I tried bringing that feeling sensation to each body part, which was interesting but quite lovely! 🥰
