From the Clinical Psychological Review Journal in 2010,
Quote,
People who regularly practice gratitude are happier,
Less depressed,
Less stressed,
And more satisfied with their relationships,
End quote.
So let's get grateful.
Today we are going to use a simple practice that perhaps you remember from elementary school.
We will go through the alphabet,
The ABCs,
And name one or more things that begin with each letter that you are grateful for.
For example,
A,
I am grateful for my sister Andrea,
For the taste of apples,
And so on.
For B,
I am grateful for beaches and bike rides.
You get the point.
If you haven't already,
Get out your journal and favorite writing utensil or open your notes app in your phone while I provide the letter prompts.
You will have about seven seconds per letter,
So use the first word or words that come to mind.
Don't put too much thought into it.
