This gentle, guided, spoken meditation invites you into a quiet sanctuary where you can rest in safety. With a warm voice and a soft crackle of fire in the hearth, you're guided to release the day and return to inner stillness. This is part of my 'Sanctuary Series' - meditations designed to gently hold you and help you return home to yourself. Each one explores a different space to rest. Ideal for - sleep support, grounding after emotional overwhelm, and nervous system rebalancing. For the best experience, use headphones to enjoy the full depth of sound and gentle detail woven into each track. If this meditation helped you feel calmer or more connected, a short review would help others find this calm too. This meditation includes natural fire crackle in the sanctuary to soothe and ground. No added music or effects—just a warm, quiet moment. love JennyBea x Thanks to Pixabay for the image and sounds Words and Voice - JennyBea.

Hello,

I'm Jenny B.

This meditation is here to gently guide you into sleep.

There's nothing you need to do right now.

Nowhere you need to be.

Just this moment and this invitation to rest.

If you need to set a timer,

Do so now.

And when you're ready,

Just take a moment to settle.

Find a position that feels easy,

Sitting or lying,

Perhaps with a gentle soft blanket or cover.

And let yourself be held by the surface beneath you,

By the space around you,

Or just by the knowing that you've done enough for today.

And in your mind's eye,

Close the door on today behind you.

And land in this quiet space.

Take a few gentle breaths at your own pace.

Maybe notice your stomach gently accept your warm breath.

Feel the deeper inhalations.

Letting each exhale soften you further,

Down into stillness,

Down into comfort.

And if you haven't done so already,

Just let your eyes drift shut,

Heavy eyelids,

Ready for rest.

Feel the blanket or the air around your shoulders.

A gentle pressure that says,

You're safe now,

You can let go.

I'd like you to imagine a soft glow above your head.

Be any color you choose.

Maybe silver or purple,

Gold or white,

Whatever feels right today.

You welcome it as it begins to drift down,

Down through your face,

Your neck,

Your shoulders,

That's right.

You might like to move your tongue and release your jaw.

Not feeling any tension,

Loosening the day.

And it will continue down through your body,

Your hips,

Your legs,

Slowly,

Gently,

Smoothing out the tight places.

Heavy,

Soft,

Warm.

Eventually,

Ebbing back away,

Back to the earth.

Leaving you relaxed and ready for your journey to sleep.

I invite you to picture yourself standing in a quiet hallway with an ornate key in your hand.

You run your fingers over its shape,

Noticing its curves and edges,

Maybe imagining its weight and texture.

Ahead,

There is a closed doorway,

Perhaps made of wood,

Colored glass or crystal,

And it's filled with light.

The frame glows gently.

You step towards it,

And when you unlock and open the door,

You find yourself in a beautiful sanctuary room,

A space made just for you.

Soft golden light spills across the floor,

And there's a gentle fire glowing,

Steady and calm.

There's a big armchair with a velvety,

Lush blanket,

And the sweet scent of wood or herbs.

Outside,

Through the wide windows,

Trees sway,

And in the evening sky,

Stars glimmer,

But here,

Here,

It is warm and still.

You feel no tension in this friendly space.

There are no arguments or friction.

Everything is at peace.

It's that feeling you used to long for,

Perhaps,

As a child.

When the grown-ups were kind,

The house was calm,

And you could just be.

And you are safe here.

You belong here.

Let the peace of this room wrap around you.

You step slowly across the wooden floor.

There's a warm,

Steamy mug on the table beside you.

You wrap your hands around it and take a sip.

The taste is gentle,

Soothing and familiar.

Its scent makes your shoulders relax once more.

Do you remember how that feels?

That wave of relaxation?

Do you remember the scent?

Remember the taste on your tongue?

And you might give an audible sign of release.

A lovely robe,

Slippers,

Or pair of comforting soft socks awaits you nearby.

The kind that hushes your mind just by touching them.

Everything here is just as you like it,

And you have everything you need.

You glance through the window.

The moon is rising,

Full and gentle,

Watching quietly over the trees.

And the stars behind her shimmer like soft lights in the dark.

They're not asking anything of you.

Just being there,

Just being.

And you are part of this.

You're not separate,

Not forgotten,

Not left out.

It's like the animals finding their shelter,

Like the flowers closing in the cool night air.

You're meant to rest now.

It's time.

So take a slow,

Steady breath.

Let it rise and fall in your chest like a wave.

You've done enough today.

And if it feels right,

Just run your fingers gently along your arms.

Feel the comfort in that.

Or maybe offer yourself a quiet thank you for everything you do,

For how you keep going,

And for the way you steer your course,

Even when the waters are rough.

And you can relax,

Letting go.

Knowing you have what matters here,

Your comfort,

Your rest,

Your peace.

Notice your body grow heavier now.

Heavier and heavier.

Deeper into the softness.

Deeper into the chair or bed.

That's right.

Your body remembers what it needs.

Let your body and mind connect.

Let them feel rest through your gentle breath.

Stillness as you let yourself settle into this space.

And peace in the moment.

Softer and slower.

You are safe here.

You are held.

And you are in harmony with everything around you.

Let sleep come gently now,

Like a lullaby to your soul.

Drifting off to sleep.

Deeper and deeper.

Heavier and heavier.

Good night,

My friend.

Good night.
