Welcome.
This is your morning pause.
A space to center yourself before the outside world rushes in.
Before the to-dos and timelines and tasks take over.
This is a moment to remember that you don't have to chase the day.
You can lead it.
With clarity and tension.
With calm.
Or you can simply be with it.
Close your eyes if you haven't already.
And bring one hand to your heart and the other to your belly.
Let's breathe together.
Inhale slowly through your nose.
And feel your chest and belly rise and hold at the top.
And exhale softly through the mouth.
Allow your shoulders to drop.
And again,
Inhale deeply.
And hold.
And exhale slowly.
Allow your body to settle.
Let's do that one more time.
Inhale light.
And hope.
And exhale everything else.
Let your breath return to its natural rhythm.
Easy.
Effortless.
Present.
The way we begin our day matters.
Not because everything has to be perfect.
But because how we start shapes how we respond.
When we start the day grounded,
We respond from truth.
When we start the day rushed,
We react from fear.
So this morning,
We root in intention.
We remember that presence is a choice.
That peace is a practice.
And that the energy we carry into the day shapes what we receive from it.
Today's mantra is Sat Nam.
From the Kundalini tradition.
Satnam means truth is my identity.
Or simply,
I am truth.
Sat on the inhale.
Numb on the exhale.
Each repetition calls you back to your essence.
Who you really are beneath the noise.
Now gently bring your awareness into your body.
Let's begin with our feet.
Feel your feet,
Soft,
Heavy,
Connected to the earth or the surface that you're on.
Relax your ankles.
Your lower legs,
Your knees.
Your thighs.
And let your hips settle in.
Let your spine lengthen gently.
Stretch if you need.
Let your belly be soft.
And soft in your chest.
And let your breath expand through your ribs.
Relax your shoulders.
Your arms,
Your hands.
Soft in your jaw.
Unclench your tongue and your eyebrows.
Relax your eyes.
I feel the leads become heavier and heavier.
Let your body be here.
Allow it to awaken.
While it's rooted.
And at ease.
Now ask yourself gently,
How do I want to move through this day?
What kind of energy do I want to carry?
Perhaps what matters most today.
Allow an intention to rise.
Not a task,
Not a to-do list,
Not something that you have to get done before you go to bed tonight.
But a way of being.
Maybe it is.
Today I move with presence.
Or I speak with kindness.
Or I intend to receive and be a good receiver today.
Perhaps I listen today more than I speak,
Or I listen with the intention of understanding.
Not to respond.
Or perhaps I trust myself today.
For today,
I allow myself to enjoy the unfolding.
Whatever it is,
Let your intention be simple.
It's usually the first thing that comes to your mind.
Whatever his presence.
And you can also change your intention throughout the day if you set one now.
But it's a beautiful way to start.
Something to anchor you for the day.
Let it come from the heart.
And now,
Begin silently repeating the mantra.
Sat.
Nam.
Sat means truth.
Numb means name or identify.
So together satnam translates to truth is my name or I am truth.
It's a reminder of who you really are beneath all the noise.
A being of truth,
Light,
And authenticity.
When we use it in meditation or in greeting,
Similar to namaste,
We're essentially saying that I see and honor the truth in myself and I see and honor that same truth in you.
It's both a mantra for self-realization and a way to connect with others from a place of genuine presence and integrity.
Sat Naam.
Feel these words align with your breath.
And let the vibration of truth ripple through your body.
You don't really need to try to be anything today because you already are.
Let's return to the breath.
And repeat the mantra,
SAT-NAM.
Sat Naam.
Now you repeat it with me.
Sat.
Nam.
Sat.
Now.
Absent.
Now silently to yourself.
Blast your breathing.
Internally repeat.
Sut.
The words may become distorted.
They may disappear for a while.
And when you notice that,
Just gently drift back.
And repeat.
Sat Naam.
Mantras.
A mind vehicle.
That will keep you on the road.
And you can always jump back into it.
To keep moving.
In your meditation.
And it's okay when we fall off because the vehicle keeps moving.
So you can just jump on it whenever you want.
Sat Naam.
Shut up.
Now you can let go of the mantra,
Allow it to fade.
Let the stillness settle.
Before you return to your day.
Take one more moment to affirm.
Your intention.
If you didn't set an intention,
Perhaps you say.
I carry my truth with me today.
Or I begin from presence.
Or,
I am grounded,
I am clear,
I am enough.
This is your starting point.
There is no rush.
There is no noise.
All there is is alignment.
Now let's close this practice with the sacred sound of Aum.
The vibration of the beginning.
Becoming.
And returning.
A is for the start.
U for the unfolding and M for the stillness.
Let's take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in for Aum and together.
Let the vibration echo into your morning.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Bring a small stretch into your body and roll your shoulders,
Wiggle your fingers and toes.
Awaken.
Reconnect with the earth.
And step into your day,
Rooted.
Intentional.
And true.
And as always,
Keep showing up.
Everything else flows from there.
