If you have been facing anger lately and if you have noticed yourself responding again and again with irritation or anger towards people in your circle at work or with family or just with people around you and deep down you really want to change this because every time you react with anger it feels unsettling within it doesn't feel like your best self so today is the festival of colors it's holy and i want to equip you with a very colorful visualization that you can practice and respond with much more of calmness and control in these very same situations that trigger anger within you so let's begin take a deep breath in and exhale now gently close your eyes imagine right in front of you is a control panel with different buttons on it and each button has a different color there's red green blue and each button with each color represents an emotional state of yours so red represents anger there's a green button which represents calm and confidence and there's a blue button there which represents focus just look at this panel for a moment now think of a recent situation where you felt anger arising and you did react with anger you picked up your finger pressed that red button and it just grew bright now in your imagination gently lift your finger off the red button and consciously press the green button feel it activate not just on the control panel but also in your body you're noticing that you're feeling a little more calmer steady your breath is feeling deeper your shoulders have softened your jaw is relaxed your chest feels more equipped and open to deal with the situation in a calm and composed fashion you're telling yourself yes this situation may be irritating but this time i choose to respond with calmness because every time i react in anger it disturbs my very peace first stay here for a few breaths and feel what it feels like to be in control of your emotional state you're not a victim of your emotions you can always choose your response and the more you practice this visualization the more you mentally press that green button the more you get in control of your emotional state by the fifth or sixth time of doing this visualization you'll begin to notice something beautiful the situations that once triggered you and made you feel so angry where you were snapping at the people around you they don't have the same power anymore you feel composed grounded in charge and you still deal with that same situation so whenever you need it you can reach out in your imagination and press the button you choose so take one more deep breath in and gently open your eyes so today is holy as you play with different colors outside remember that you can also get in control of the colors inside you can press any button anytime and take charge of your emotional state so thank you so much for practicing this visualization with me
