This meditation will help you to transform the relationship that you have with your own body,
Cultivating more self-love,
More compassion and warmth to your amazing body that is your home.
If you have any negative thoughts,
Any self-defeating or critical thoughts about different parts of your body,
Your brain responds to these thoughts and sends out signals to your body and your body's physiology changes according to these thoughts.
So if you can change these negative,
Self-defeating thoughts into positive,
Warm,
Compassionate thoughts towards yourself,
Towards your body,
Your brain will respond to these thoughts and your brain will send signals out to the rest of your body helping to reduce your blood pressure and improve your immune system and the connection between your mind and body will integrate more harmoniously so you are able to have a better relationship towards your body,
Having more self-love,
More kindness and more compassion to your beautiful,
Perfect body that is your home.
So let's begin.
Find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed,
Turning off or silence any distractions and find a comfortable seated or lying down position.
Make sure you are comfortable in this position.
If you need to move at any time during this meditation,
Please feel free to do so but make sure you move mindfully.
Now softly close down your eyes.
Start to relax all the muscles in your body now,
Starting at the top of your head,
Softening your face,
Unclenching the jaw,
Softening into your throat,
Relaxing your neck and your shoulders,
All the way down to your hands,
Your fingers,
Relaxing and softening your chest,
Your upper back,
Down to your lower back,
Allowing your stomach to soften and become heavy,
Releasing any stress and tension that you are holding there.
Continue the relaxation down into your legs,
From your upper legs all the way down to your feet and your toes.
Take your attention to your breath now,
As you breathe in and out through your nose.
Take your attention to your breath now,
As we take a few deep relaxing breaths.
So on your next inhale,
Take a deep breath in,
Feel the air as it fills up your lungs and a full exhale out,
Exhaling all of the air out of your lungs.
Take another deep inhale,
Feel as the whole of your body now fills up with air and a full exhale,
Completely exhaling all of the air out of your body as it relaxes,
Releasing any stress and tension.
Take one more deep inhale now,
As the whole of your body fills up with air and a complete full exhale,
Allowing any remaining stress and tension to drift away and return back to your natural breath,
Just breathing naturally in and out of your nose.
Focus on your heart space now,
At the center of your chest,
As you breathe in and out of this area,
Just breathing naturally as your breath moves in through your nose down into your heart space and exhaling the air back out from your heart space,
Cultivating the qualities of your heart,
Cultivating the love,
The warmth and the compassion.
At any time during this meditation,
If you find it difficult to focus on certain parts of your body,
Because you have injury,
Pain,
Disease,
Illness and it becomes too intense for you to focus,
That is okay,
You can return your attention back to your breath or back to your heart space and when you feel ready to continue the meditation,
Please do so.
Take your attention to your head now,
To your brain,
To your mind,
Sending gratitude,
Warmth,
Love and compassion to your brain and to your mind.
It is such a wonderful tool,
A wonderful instrument,
It navigates you through your life in this complex world that we live in.
You're able to understand,
To think,
To reason,
To plan,
To create,
To imagine.
The mind is a wonderful tool when we have control over it,
We are able to connect with others,
We are able to understand,
To hold onto all the amazing memories that we have with our loved ones,
With our friends,
From all of our experiences in life,
All the treasured memories that we have.
Send gratitude and love and compassion to your brain,
To your mind.
Take your attention to your eyes now,
Sending your eyes gratitude,
A loving warmth that they deserve,
From all the beauty that you see throughout your life,
All the amazing colours,
The amazing sights,
The beautiful faces of your loved ones.
You are able to see all the wonders and all the beauties that are before you,
Sending your eyes loving warmth and gratitude.
Taking your attention to your ears now,
Your ears that can hear all the beautiful sounds in the world,
The sounds of nature,
The sounds of birds,
The ocean as it crashes against the shore.
Hear the sounds of your loved ones,
Their beautiful,
Beautiful voices,
Listening to amazing music that has been created by others.
As you send gratitude,
Love and warmth to your ears,
To your hearing.
Taking your attention to your nose now,
Sending your nose the feelings of gratitude and love,
All the wondrous smells or the aromas,
The smells of your favourite food,
The smell of freshly cut grass,
The smell in the air after a storm has passed,
Sending gratitude to your ability to smell.
Take your attention to your mouth now,
You are able to express,
To share with others,
To laugh,
Tell jokes,
To tell people that you love them,
To compliment others,
To compliment yourself and to tell yourself that you love yourself.
You have the freedom of speech,
You can create with your voice,
You can sing beautifully,
You can speak beautifully,
You can taste all the wonderful flavours of food as you send your mouth the gratitude and love and the warmth that it truly deserves.
Freedom of expression is something truly to be grateful for,
To express yourself the way you want to,
To create and be imaginative with your voice.
Take your attention down into your heart now,
Sending gratitude,
Love,
Warmth and compassion to your heart,
It has been beating before you was even born into this world,
Keeping you alive,
Sending blood and oxygen all around your body,
Your heart with its qualities of love,
Kindness,
Compassion,
Empathy,
Forgiveness as you send gratitude towards your heart now,
Your wonderful beautiful heart keeping you alive,
As you take your attention to your lungs,
They have been drawing in air for you ever since you was born,
As you feel the pleasure of breathing which truly nourishes you,
Sending warmth,
Love and gratitude to your lungs,
Taking your attention to your stomach now,
Your digestive system which works to digest food,
Taking all of the nutrients as your cells turn them into functions,
Keeping you alive and your digestive system getting rid of any toxins that do not serve you,
Keeping the functionality of your body at an optimum,
Be grateful for your digestive system,

Taking your attention to your arms now and your hands,
They do so much for us from preparing our food,
To cooking,
Taking care of ourselves,
Taking care of others,
We're able to hug,
To have the healing touch onto other people and to ourselves,

Taking your attention to your legs,
Your feet and your toes,
These let you stand up for yourself,
To stand up strong and proud,
To walk through life,
To exercise,
To play sports,
Socialize with other people,
To go walking in the beautiful nature that is our home,
Our legs carry us throughout our lives,
They are strong and powerful,
Just like you,
Just like the rest of your body,
Sending gratitude,
Love and warmth to your legs,
Your feet and your toes,
Take your attention to the whole of your body now,
To your skin,
This wonderful layer of protection,
Protecting that inner intelligence that you have inside you,
The skin repairs itself,
It heals,
It is truly beautiful and wonderful,
No matter what color your skin is,
It serves its purpose for you,
For your body,
For you to survive and to live,
To create and to imagine,
As you send your skin love,
Warmth and gratitude,
As you take your attention to the rest of your body now,
The whole inside of your body,
The intelligence that is inside you,
All of the cells,
The organs,
Your circulatory systems,
Your immune system,
Everything inside you is fighting to keep you alive,
It is such a magnificent and wonderful body,
All of the millions upon millions of processes that your body does,
Keeping you alive,
It is your home,
It is your home from which you are able to create,
To experience life,
To love,
To share love with others,
To have all these amazing experiences,
These amazing memories,
Your body is truly extraordinary,
As you send it gratitude,
Love and warmth,
Noticing your body now,
All of the energy as it flows around your body,
Feel free to scan from your head all the way down to your toes and back up to your head very slowly,
Feeling deep inside your body,
The energy that flows around,
The inner intelligence that creates and sustains your body,
That creates and sustains you,
Your life,
It is your life force,
Your body lives in tune with nature,
It lives in tune with the planets,
The moon and the stars,
It lives in tune with the universe,
As you send gratitude to your whole body,
As you send love and warmth to your whole body,
Take your attention back to your heart space now,
As you breathe naturally in and out of your heart space,
With regular practice of self-love,
Of gratitude for your own body,
For yourself,
Because you are perfect just the way you are,
You can break the old habits,
The old negative ways of thinking,
The self-defeating talk,
The critical talk and start to think in more positive ways and have more gratitude for everything that you do have,
More gratitude for everything that you are already are,
Because you are enough,
You are perfect,
If you came across any areas in your body that you found it challenging and difficult to have gratitude for,
Because of injury,
Disease,
Pain,
That is okay,
Just accept,
Accept these areas for what they are,
Just accept the pain,
Accept the injury,
The sickness,
The illness,
Do not reject any body parts,
Do not reject yourself and with regular practice of self-love and gratitude,
Your relationship will change towards your body,
Towards you,
In more nourishing and healing ways,
You can take your attention off your heart space now and just sit or lie in the stillness that you have created,
Receiving the love and the warmth that you have just sent yourself,
Keeping your eyes closed,
Start to move your fingers,
Your toes,
Your hands and your feet and slowly stretch out into the space around you and very slowly begin to open your eyes,
Starting off gazing down at the floor.
