This meditation is to help you connect with the truth of yourself,
The truth of your essence,
And to help you embody that and to bring it into your daily waking life.
So let's start with getting comfy,
Taking some deep breaths,
And if you'd like you can put your hands together,
Palm to palm,
Or put your palms on your chest over your heart,
Or you can lay them in your lap upright so they can feel and absorb the energy.
Breathe into your heart space,
Deep breaths,
Slow and steady,
Let the energy come in and fill up all of your chest.
Imagine the light there may be green,
May be pink,
Soft and warm,
And feel yourself connected through the heart to everything and everyone,
And as you breathe in and out gently here,
Feel each cell in your body receiving that loving energy.
See each cell as part of a greater whole,
And see yourself in turn as part of a greater whole.
Draw in that loving energy and allow it to fill you through the surface of your skin and beyond,
Filling up your physical body and filling your energetic field,
And spilling out and over to join with the energetic love field of everything around you.
And as you're feeling into this loving energy,
Let yourself feel where you're connected to the ground.
Whether you're sitting or lying,
Feel where your body connects to the surface beneath you.
Feel that grounded connection and let your energy sink downwards and in turn be supported,
And feel the energy that comes back up from the earth.
And breathe into this energy,
Breathe into this connection.
As you breathe,
Imagine this connection getting stronger,
More intense,
More grounded,
Reminding you of your connection to the world,
To the physical world around you.
Roots of a tree grounding you.
Breathe in.
Breathe in through the soles of your feet.
Breathe in through the base of your spine.
Take your breaths here and release them here too.
Feel fully your connection with the earth.
And now feel the connection between your earth energy,
Your grounded roots,
And the loving heart space.
As you breathe,
Feel the energy move from root to heart,
And from heart to root.
All part of the same system.
Know that even when the winds of life blow,
You're still connected,
You're still rooted.
Nothing can disrupt that.
Breathe in and out.
Breathe through the heart,
All the way to the roots.
Breathe out from the roots,
All the way through the heart.
And feel yourself filled with love and pure earth energy that is always there.
And now I'd like you to open your connection upwards.
Breathe upwards through the energy centers above your heart,
Through your throat,
And your third eye,
And your crown and beyond.
As you breathe in,
Draw the energy down from there,
Down from the heavens,
Down from a source.
Feel it moving down,
Flooding you with light and purpose and love.
As you breathe out,
Breathe back up through those energy centers,
Connecting yourself all the way up with the universe above you.
As much part of that non-physical world as this one.
Breathe in and draw down your connection to your higher self,
To that part of you that knows how important you are,
How special and how unique,
And how necessary it is that you're here on earth.
Following the path that you're going on.
Breathe yourself in and breathe out all through those energy centers,
Strengthening that connection.
And allow that knowledge to come through and settle in you,
To settle in the cells of your body.
This connection from above,
And the connection from below,
And the connection to all living things all around you.
Breathe slow and steady,
And feel the awareness of the energy moving all around you,
And of yourself,
Whole and perfect.
Rooted and grounded,
At one in the middle of it all.
Feel what this feels like in your body.
Notice the sensations.
Mark them gently,
And know that you can return to this place.
All you have done is made yourself aware of what is always there.
Feel the joy of connection,
And know that you are loved,
And you are grounded,
And you are always at one with Source.
