Welcome.
My name is Susan and I'm honored to guide you through this 10 minute healing water element meditation for softness and flow.
I invite you to find a comfortable position,
Either sitting with your spine supported or lying down with your whole body at ease.
Let your arms rest naturally,
Palms open,
Ready to receive.
Close your eyes and allow your breath to find its own rhythm.
Feel your body begin to soften like a shoreline meeting the tide.
You are here.
You are safe.
Take in a slow breath and let it flow out.
In and out.
Breathing in and breathing out.
In and out.
Let your breath move like gentle waves.
Smooth,
Steady,
Relaxed.
Inhaling,
The tide comes in.
Exhaling,
The tide flows out.
Notice the subtle rise and fall of your belly.
The way your breath naturally carries you from moment to moment without force.
Imagine yourself floating on calm water.
It might be a still lake at sunrise.
A sheltered bay with warm gentle ripples.
Or a peaceful ocean,
Quiet under the evening sky.
The water is a perfect temperature.
Soft against your skin,
Holding you effortlessly.
You don't have to try.
You are supported.
Weightless.
Safe.
With each inhale,
You feel the water lifting you slightly.
With each exhale,
You sink gently into its embrace.
Rocking you.
Soothing you.
Let yourself drift.
Notice the light dancing across the surface.
Hear the soft lapping of water at the edges.
Smell the freshness in the air.
Clean,
Pure,
And alive.
Water can carry emotions.
It can hold them,
Soften them,
And release them.
Turn your awareness inward now.
Notice what's within you.
Without judgment.
Simply observe.
If something arises,
An emotion,
A memory,
A sensation.
Imagine placing it gently on the water's surface.
Watch as it drifts away.
Like a leaf caught in a slow current.
You are fluid.
You can adapt.
You can let go.
Like water,
You have the strength to flow around obstacles.
And the grace to carry only what nourishes you.
That you can stay in this warm embrace as long as you wish.
And when you are ready,
Begin to return to your body.
Feel the steady rhythm of your breath again.
Blowing in and flowing out.
Gently wiggle your fingers and toes.
Roll your shoulders.
Notice the support beneath and around you.
When you are ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Carry with you the ease and fluidity of water.
Let it guide you through the rest of your day.
