Hi,

My name is Heather Hemmer,

And this is a guided meditation to help you find your inner wisdom.

We'll start by just settling into this moment.

Allow your body to find a shape that feels grounded and supported.

The breath is in and out through your nose.

And if it feels safe,

You can gently close your eyes or lower your gaze.

Begin to feel the pull of gravity,

The way the surface beneath you holds you without asking anything in return.

And allow yourself to take a full,

Deep breath in through the nose,

And a long,

Full exhale through the mouth.

And one more time,

Just like that.

A full,

Deep breath in,

And a long,

Slow exhale release.

And allow the rhythm of your breath to become natural.

A gentle awareness on the inhale and the exhale.

Not trying to change anything,

Just simply allowing yourself to be here.

Bring your awareness to the muscles in your face,

Letting the muscles in your forehead relax,

The edges of your eyes melt,

Jaw slightly open.

And on the next exhale,

Feel your shoulders gently fall down your back.

And with your awareness,

Your awareness returning to your breath,

Allow it to move your body as you inhale and as you exhale,

Recognizing there's no need to do anything in particular,

No need to control the breath,

No need to control the body or the mind.

If you feel yourself scattered or distracted,

Without judgment,

Come back to feeling the full body breathing,

The whole body filling with breath as you breathe in,

And the whole body releasing as you breathe out.

Staying with the breath,

Slowing it down a bit,

Feeling yourself sinking deeper into the space beneath you with each exhale.

The edges of your eyes are soft,

Your jaw slightly open,

Your shoulders relaxed.

You are simply here in this space,

Calm,

Peaceful,

And relaxed.

And now I'll repeat a few words for you to reflect on.

You'll hear me say these words a few times.

With each repetition,

You will become more open and available to connect with their meaning,

Strength,

And potential.

As you hear these words,

Repeat them silently to yourself.

I am the wisdom I seek.

I will say them again as you say them silently.

I am the wisdom I seek.

Slow your breath down a bit.

Softly focus on the area of your heart.

You may notice a calmness or a stillness between the words.

This can be a place to breathe more slowly.

I'll say the words one last time for you to hear,

And then my voice will be quiet as you reflect.

Allow yourself to be open and available as you observe your reply to these words.

I am the wisdom I seek.

I will say them again as you hear them silently.

Connecting with your inner wisdom,

Gently focus on your heart,

Remaining neutral,

Interested,

And willing to know more until my voice returns.

And coming back to the sound of my voice.

Focusing on the inhalation,

Feeling more alert and awake.

The next few breaths are longer,

Slower,

And deeper.

And gently bringing your awareness back into your body,

Begin wiggling your toes and allowing that energy to move upwards into the legs.

The hips,

The torso,

Across the shoulders,

Down the arms into your hands.

Maybe a gentle stretch or yawn.

And let your attention rest behind your eyelids.

And on your next exhale,

Allow your eyes to slowly open,

A soft smile across your face,

Gratitude for this moment of stillness.

Before you rush off into the day,

Take a few moments to write down or journal anything that you're more aware of now,

Anything that feels clear,

Steady,

Or true.

Sending you off with love and light until next time.

This is Heather Hemmer.
